Transition to Flowering Question

Hello Community ,,

So I am growing a bunch of autoflowers in one tent with 20/4 light cycle.

I am in week 8 and all of them flowered and doing ok except one plant still in Veg.

I think the supplier messed up and gave me a photoperiod seed by mistake.

My question, how do I make her flower given that I only one tent? Changing light cycle to 12/12 will shock the others.

Can I induce flowering by placing her in a closet with 12/12 for maybe 2 days then return her to the tent?

Guess I need to buy a new tent with its own carbon filter and fan then ...

This is because I have to be discrete and prevent the neighbors from detecting any smell.

If it is, and it sounds like a photoseed snuck in with the autos, so even if you do keep her at total light out for a day or two, to trick her into flowering, she will be confused getting 20/4.
And it would be a pitty to go 12/12, when the rest is doing well.

So with just 1 spot for growing, i´d loose the photo and throw the love after the autos.

If it is infact a photo then ditch it but I would wait it out a little longer in case it could just be a late bloomer

Makes sense to ditch it.

But I will decided to get another small tent. Not very costly. Hopefully the tent will arrive within a week or two, then I repot into a larger pot, and go to town with my girl

If you have space you can suffer it if you don't then eject it and care 100% for the others.

By all means get another tent but you also need all the life support gear so you will need a few quid.

But its size is double that of my autoflowers, plus the only way for me to get bud in my country is throw personal grow room.

You could always move it to a closet... just do 12 hours of light on and move it to a closet. Probably will need a new fan, but that might work

You can just grow more plants later..... Im just saying dont buy a tent, fan, filter, and light for one plant. Its a seed and some dirt. Grow photos next time, autos suck.

Ya i definitely would buy a tent for just one plant. I would try moving it to a closet to get 12 hour darkness. He may not be able to get a perfect light schedule, but hopefully he can get something from it.

Why not just grow another plant? I mean unless that was his ultimate plan anyway it just doesnt make sense.

I’d just veg it out and flip when the last auto is chopped. 12hrs on/12 off

I threw some bag seeds in a dwc for my first grow. One ended up being an auto, and I was worried bc the other 2 that made it were photos. I flipped to 12/12 anyways and my auto is doing just fine. I of course only had one to risk, so I completely understand if ur not wanting to risk it w how many u have.

It would be HUGE by the time they are done. But yea he could spend the next 10 weeks training the hell out of it and it would be big enough to fill out the whole tent in flower.

If it is really a Photo, you could do what hydrokid239 said and keep it vegging, to keep the size down you can top her every couple weeks as needed. It will be good practice!
