Why are you growing auto's? Grow photo's and flip to 12/12 when they're the size you want and you won't have to worry about stunted plants flowering at 6 inches. Auto's are not better than photo's and don't make a lot of sense growing indoors one crop at a time.

Its more of time. Would i rather wait 6 months or 3 months. At this point I have 8 autos left so might as well plant them. Im learning each time I do it. My dreams are to be an auto master

That is the myth of autos.

Some are pretty quick, some arent. It is a crapshoot.
Planning on 5 to 6 months seed to harvest is pretty much a guarantee with photoperiod plants

They are still quicker. This is the path I decided to take, so might as well learn this path. Hey atleast I didn't kill 12 plants this time

Who is they? ...
With a photo, it isnt hard to grow 12/12 from seed for that kind of yield
I know, all im saying is i chose autos for them being quick and at this point stuck with them for now which I'm not complaining. If you can grow an autoflower good, you should have no problems growing a photo. i think there is more skill with autoflowers. Like I said i got 8 seeds left i think, so im kind of stuck with them. I like how they grow smaller, and grow a little faster. Mabe some day I will try a photo

Grow what you want to grow bud, it's your garden. I will say that if you think there is more skill with growing autoflowers that you will be surprised if you switch. Most training is done to photos, many more skills utilized. You will also have an interesting time when you get your first not autoflowering auto, you wait and wait but in the end have to flip to 12/12 to get it to go. It will be very large at that point and throw off the whole schedule for your garden. Autos can be good, I plan to drop some for an outdoor cottage grow next year as we have short summers here but don't discount the amount of skills used with photos. Good luck.

If I get one that isn't an auto i may be able to put him in my closet possibly. I only got them in 2.5 gallon pots. I just think auto take more skill because the room to make errors is very slim, plus you got to start them in a big pot or atleast do one transplant. One thing I learned is autos aren't easy I grew one photo in the past and didn't have nearly the amount of issues. Im just an idiot and like doing things the hard way and got autos. At first I thought they would be easier, but I found out thats not true at all.

Definitely, thats why I'm on here. When did I ever say I have mad skills. All im saying is photos are a little easier in my opinion do to there longer grow periods which allow for some mistakes. I am not claiming to have skill. I am claiming to be a student.

Yes I have experience with Autos and the specific issues I pointed out. Nothing wrong with growing autos if that's what you want, I moved on to photo plants because it allows me to use many more skills and have more control. While I will acknowledge there is less recovery time because you cannot continue to veg them it is also much more basic. Most plant autos into their large final pots, photos are transferred a couple three times. You don't do much training with autos but photos are subjected to many more techniques. You could find you had more issues with autos due to the fact that there are so many crappy auto genetics out there. Either way you do you, I won't knock you for growing what you want. As I said, it's your garden.

Ya. Hey I cant send my seeds back now. I just got to finish these. I think I will continue autos even after these. I got to get good at one to get to the other if I want to. I just wander how bad is it if it flowers at 2 weeks and 3 days. I know it definitely isn't good, but does anybody have any words of encouragement.

I get it, I have a bunch of auto seeds, just going to use them outside my cottage. As for encouragement there is not much to say, that's autos for you. Having them flower when they feel like it is what you paid for, it's just unfortunate it happened so early. It will grow, if it is flowering and you keep it healthy it will produce smokable bud, just not as much as you would like. Who knows, could be the best smoke you ever had, just keep her health and cross your fingers.

Im hoping for an ounce a plant. My goal was 2-3, but that doesn't look like thats gonna happen except the ones thats are 3 weeks old. They may not even get that, but as long as I beat my last grow of one ounce for two plants I will be happy. My first grow was 15 grams for three plants (ya that was done super duper cheap), my last was only 2 plants made it, and I got 1 ounce. So im hoping I get more than last
