If you were about to die, in a weeks time or so. Would you prefer that they stopped feeding you? Or would you request a 5 star meal to be had on Wednesday and let that digest for a few days whilst you kicked the can

Fuck no. I'm around 245 and not cause I'm big boned XD yes i want to be fed the same day i die. How much of a waste is it really? Plus, you're saying(what i believe you're saying) is your "flushing" for a few days. People usually are "flushing" for periods of 2 weeks. No way my buds are gerring weined in coco for 2 weeks when it's the biggest gain of weight. Once i know i want to cut, i might go 2 and MAYBE 3 days with no watering at all to just let the drying out start, but she's not going 2 weeks ahead of time on light feedings.

Yeah I flush for about a week even after a week there's still a fair amount of nutes in that soil if you test the runoff some people run tons and tons of phed water through during the first flush to get everything out liie low ppms then water with ph water

I want FACTS. Ok, so flushing takes out the unwanted chemicals. What chemicals? How much of them? And what chemicals are in my unflushed buds? And how much? Sure scientists say flushing does something, but what exactly and how much? No clues. That's why as long as my stuff drys and cures and smokes/vapes smoothe, i see no need in flushing.

Sure do have all the answers for a new grower. Sure wish i just wasn't stupid as fk and had to take years learning when i could've just known them overnight by simply wanting too.

This all stemmed from me asking how my girl was looking and turned into a knowledge pissing contest I just want to know what the best method is with autos this far along and how or if to flush and if the flush method I used is good or if and flush at all was necessary and I never got a definitive answer. Is there even a right or wrong way to do it these are the questions I want the answers to sorry if I came off as a know it all im sure everyone on here has alot more than me but from the research and fellow growers I've spoken with it seems those methods are the meta... what works for you I wanna see pictures of yalls beautiful plants and buds

I’m still waiting to know when in nature does this “flush” process take place? Do the plants send out a signal saying “don’t poop on me I’m almost finished growing”

Why are you trying to compare outdoor to indoor? They are 2 totally different things. No one wants out door weed and there is reasons for that.

For sure... had very few outdoor buds lately from growers in ok and dispensaries that were anything compared to indoor there is no comparison honestly

Just my 2c in flushing.

When your plants are flushed nd they are still packing on weight they will eat their leaves first. After the leaves are consumed it will then start to eat the inner parts of the bud as they can not be pollinated anymore. So your plants using itself to grow more buds.

This is why flushing is only worth it if you’ve overfed your plant for its lifetime and flush for the last to weeks as it packs on weight. You’re not flushing anything out the plant it’s simply making those nutrients in the buds into new buds. This lowering the ratio of nutes per a bud. I had a starved blue cheese which inner parts of the buds where white/yellow compared to the outside.

If you haven’t overfed you’re plant flushing is counterproductive and you’ll lose potency/yield by doing so.

Hope that clears some things up. Also explains why some swear by flushing and others don’t know a difference.

How bout this because there is really only one way to test the theory i have 2 autos in veg right now ill flush one before harvest and ill slam the other pk eight before harvest and we'll see what happens I just wanted people that had experience flushing or not flushing to give me an answer to the mystery of flushing lol but maybe their is no real answer other than testing a hypothesis. Because that's all it is for me at this point

What are these pictures going to tell you? Are you just wanting to flush for some good "fade" pics to brag to friends like the magizines? The look of a plant has zero indication of the THC/CBD or whatever terps/taste/smells you want or how good it medicates/gets you high. What will a picture with green leaves instead of brown and yellow prove to you? There are lots of google pictures with orange curled up fat buds(obviously ready) and full nice green leaves.
