Thanks.Incorrect and misleading. I've run 12/12 on all plants for 15 years...autos and photos... auto herms are caused from other stress factors NOT lighting schedules.
NO WHERE does it say autos REQUIRE anything more than 12/12, ONLY that they can handle and make use of it. Do some in depth homework.
So what other stress factors can cause a plant to go hermaphrodite? My golden rule, in 20 years of growing, has been to defoliate a week before flower and then leave them be other than watering. In my early days I have had photos herm on me and I have put it down to I was always messing with them. These days I defoliate, let them veg on for a week and then flower them. With these Autos I was just going to stick them in the flower tent and let them be, just water.
