agreed once I burp and sweat they seem to stay unchanged, I also monitor my jars obsessively
I’m trying them for the first time ever. The thing that I was looking for was keeping them in the cure zone without mold/over drying for longer. Sometimes I’ll forget they were open and then a day later a jar over dried and it’s all hay....I haven’t changed my process though, they hung for two weeks before final trim and I’m still burping

this will at least buy me some time to correct my fuck ups I’m hoping. I am having probably the busiest time of my life so it is basically like buying harvest insurance

that's actually what they are for sort of a cushion so you don't over dry just know you will fill a small pack quickly and to dry them out set in sun it will dry and you can re use.

edit: I used 62 bovedas and brought my jar close to it around 65% it took care of the rest while it stayed sealed. if your in the 70s while closed lid keep it off im not sure they can handle the 75+ range

I mean 70s during the sweat. for example I fill a jar half way and seal with humidity meter if it climbs more then 1% per minute i dump out then give another 24 hr dry in paper bag. after that I put into jars again and wait for the humidity to rise slowly say 1% an hour, that's when I leave the lid off for a few hours then re seal and watch the rise again. basically I wait for it to slow down and hardly change at all when sealed I aim for 62 even like 60 or 59 as it's slightly easier to roll joints. id toss ur pack in when it's at 65 and the humidity in the jar is only slowly increasing , usually after an hour if it's over 70 I dump back into paper bag. if it takes several hours to raise 5% I know I'm close

edit : current rh inside is 42 so its easy to over dry for me right now but in my drying cabinet it hovers around 60 so in my own environment this works for me , it's different for everyone

Good process and way to make sure it’s ready to jar. Thanks for explaining that.

2 Rainmaker clones given to me early July.

mid late July transplanted from solo cup to 3 gal pot & Sta Green potting soil while I figured out where the best spot in the yards to plant them.

I wasn't expecting these to survive as I had murdered 3 beautiful plants a couple yrs ago. Old owner of the house we bought left them for me. I had no idea what i was doing and moving into new house and being busy at work= no water and they died

Anyways I put these next to the spigot so i wouldn't forget to water them . Unfortunately that spot only gets sun about 3 hours a day

Early Sept buds pop and i come to the realization that i've kept these alive for 2 months. I've also neglected to move them to a better spot

Now i'm hooked, all in.. I'm growing pot in my front yard!

Google is your friend...

Mid Sept i move them to my back yard where they'll get full sun

Late Sept we had those 2 cold day. Upper 30' I think.. Well I panic and move the girls into a makeshift grow closet in my basement complete with a GE 9watt led grow light. lol I'm thinking they may have to finish in this joke of a grow closet. Two days later the plants hadn't done anything.. including sucking up any water.
The weather was warmer so back outside they went.

We have a 3 season uninsulated porch with windows on 2 sides on the back of the house that I cleaned out a bit for them to stay on the cold nights and shitty days..

3 more weeks will be the 70 days flowering. Not sure how far i should push it.

Here are a few more pics :) I'm foolishly excited and cant stop peeking at my 1st plant. Started inside and moved it out into my front yard as soon as it was warm enough. It sat there all summer next to the sidewalk, moved it into a little $60 greenhouse about a month ago trying to block wind and rain. Under the microscope I'm still seeing mostly cloudy and a some clear. No idea how much longer this could take to mature, then dry, and cure and I'm feeling super impatient.View attachment 4724712View attachment 4724713View attachment 4724714View attachment 4724717

For any little critters that hang out in the smallest spots ever.. Was very good on not damaging the plants and if I need to pinch off some damaged foliage, it was easy to do with these (for tiny things).
Very good idea! I might have to try the same. I have slot to go through lol

I'm almost half way. Have a bit more wire in this location. Then I start filling a spare room. I had to be a big shot again.
