So, I got a hold of this strain.
It's famous for winning 1st place in the 2015 SoCal Cannabis Cup as a non-solvent hash. It' a cross of GSC (which I love) and Captain Cookies. I never tried Blissful Wizard, but I love GSC, and folks say BW provides the kind of energetic, warm, focused kind of effect that I like. So, I really wanna try growing it. Problem is, there is virtually no info on growing this strain, and I found no diaries.
The only pieces of information that I found:
1. This passage, copied verbatim on several seed sites:
3. A mention by some guy who grew it under 11-13 flower light cycle, and the nugs/plant came out frosty but underdeveloped/small.
So, I am thinking:
- Extra light strength for flower phase, 11.5-12.5 light cycle (a compromise between reducing risk of hermying at 12 hours of darkness sharp VS being underdeveloped at 13 hours of darkness). FoxFarm Ocean Farm soil.
- Drench soil in solo cup with peroxide to kill larva/pathogens, prior to planting the seedling.
- Germinate seeds in a peroxide solution, per Ed Rosenthal technique, to kill any potential spores on the seeds.
- I thought about drenching the soil in a 5 gal fabric pot before replanting the sprout from the solo cup, but I don't want to kill beneficials, and a sprout will probably be robust enough by then.
Does it make sense, or is it stupid?
1st time grower--critique is welcome.

2. A post by some guy on another forum, claiming that Blissful Wizard and Gorilla Glue #4 both get a lot of hermies.Only a few pieces of information about growing this strain are available. But the most important thing is to give the plant extra Tender Love and Care, especially during its flowering stage. Check for pests and check for the possible appearance of fungus and molds that can cause the destruction of its large nugs. This plant is also challenging to cultivate if you are still a neophyte in growing cannabis. This is not for first-time growers. Organic fertilizers and supplements work best when growing this strain.Bran
