Maybe it’s just some dust that got onto a damp leaf and not pm!

I wish it was only dust. When I put my hand inside the critical plant nearest the wall it was soaked as the lights came on and dried out during the day. Like water dripping off my fingers. It's weird 'cause it was only the side of the plant closest to the wall. The side of the plant closest to the cole train was dry. When I watched through the security camera I noticed that the plant wasn't moving at all in that area.

For what it's worth, I'v been cloning 100% successfully in my aero in plain tap water.
The chloramine in mine works well enough to keep cuts healthy.
Maybe keep it simple for your BiL.
I hope you find an option to purchase Regalia, it's the only thing I have found to rid PM.

@tyler.durden recommended that I use ro water for my clones. I'm not sure what the water quality is like in Ottawa where I have the cloner, but in my area the infrastructure is really old and it's all over the place (400-800ppm) especially when we get rainfall. I'd love to get my hands on some regalia. Who knows when the boarder will finally open so I can make a trip.

I've added another 12" turbo fan. It's kinda hard to see in the pic so I've circled it. It's pointing directly into that side. I put a candle under the canopy in that area and it doesn't stay lit with the fans running. In my 3x3 tent I had two vivosun 8" oscillating fans and I figured one 18" wall fan should be enough.

I'm leaning towards building two boxes into the walls on either end and installing four of these fans. Something permanent that I don't have to think about.

Yes it's nice and dry now when I check it at lights on. It was really bushy with a lot of overlapping leaves so I gave it a big defoliation too. Still came back after all that tho.

I plugged the cloner back in and a few hours later they all stood up straight again. Love aerocloners. As for your PM, the best thing I've found is Spectracide's Immunox multi-purpose fungicide - Immunox link

It is cheap and very effective, and a bottle lasts for years. Plants don't seem to mind it at all unless you overdose. It is systemic, too. I use it on my moms because they are packed into such a small space and they're all touching. It thwarts all types of fungi, I recommend it...

Thanks Tyler. Not available in Canada Unfortunately pesticides are heavily regulated here and amazon won't ship them to Canada even if they are approved. Regalia shows up on the health Canada site... just need someone to start selling it in reasonable quantities.

So I decided to shut this grow down. The powdery mildew won. It was everywhere inside the critical once I started looking really closely. I never saw any signs of it on the cole train but figured it was better to cut my losses and fix the problems.

Imo you did the right thing. That is a terrible case of PM. I dont think I've ever had a plant that bad even growing outdoors coastal Maine.
One thing I noticed when I was making seeds last fall( 2019) outdoors is that seed bracts seem to start to mold first. Not thinking anything about it , I went abouts my seed starting like I normally do. Everything wss fine until the seed casing popped off the seedling and hit the dirt. I always leave them but this time I noticed the shell was moldy after a cpl days. Never transferred to the plants itself but I'm sure it could. The only other time I've seen anything similiar was seeds from an unknown canadian breeder. The seeds molded right in the paper towels during germ! I'm not saying this is what happened to you, I think you got a shitty strain. But I plan on always giving ANY seed a peroxide bath right before germing.

I have some airflow issues that I need to address before I restart. I spent the weekend cleaning everything out and I’ll probably restart in the new year.

Do to space issues, I built my own cab as well that is a little smaller than yours. I went so overboard with fans and intakes and have really packed my cab with no issues (even at 10 weeks flower @60% rh that was scary lol)
Pm is everywhere. One thing I've yet to do, and you might want to look into, is a mushroom filter. It goes on the outside of your fan if your pulling air into your cab. I suppose it could go either, but I've got a 6" intake pulling air into my cab, so I'd like to have the mushroom on the outside of my cab. If that makes sense.

Here's an older pic of my set up before i started growing SIPS. What is circled on the very edge of the pic is a 6" rigid vent pipe that is connected to a 6" intake fan. That is where i want that mushroom filter. Could you do something like that? As far as one of those filters?
My veg cab is underneath my flowering. I use a 6" intake to pull air into the veg area, then i have two booster fans on top of a 4" filter that sits in my veg area blowing air up into my flower cab. Some ppl say you can get away with a passive intake, but I did not choose that route and have had good luck.
