simple lighting question???

wondering if you can use 6500k thru the flowering stager will the plant still yeild or do u have to have 3000k bulbs to cause flowering"?

You can use the blue spectrum to flower but your yield will be pathetic. Get some bulbs between 2000-3000k. If you're on a tight budget I recommend getting this bulb. Remove the spaces from the link where you find them. Happy growing!

you don't need the soft white spectrum for flowering, it's a little better but the difference is small. people flower with metal halide lights which are daylight blue spectrum with very respectable quality and quantity buds.

now the difference between fluoro and HID is definitely substantial.

I grow with cfls and use the 6500k for vegging and 2700k for flowering . My yeild isnt quite as much as when I was using my HPS but I still get some really nice buds .
