Is this a decent set up? Been debating upgrading this with some more red/ir diodes or just going for a qb set up.

I have 6x vero 29 3000k 90 cri running up to 70 watts each overhead, currently at 50 watts each for a total of 300 watts. I have a platinum p150 blurple that I took apart and took off the focusing lenses for and only have reds on (48 watts of red) and on the side is an old mars light that I wired 3 vero 29 3000k 90 cri's to for a total of 75 watts.

This grow might suck (GSC, 6 weeks~) but I have some nice genetics lined up for my next run that I wanna see how the red affects. I only put the p150 up there 2 weeks ago just about and removed the focusing lenses today. The p150 is advertised as having ir and red diodes but I don't see anything that looks like ir. Still, I think to salvage my old light it does add a good amount of red to the spectrum and greengenes vids have showed me how much nicer buds can look with some red (fuller, rounder, more developed). So is this enough or should I add some real cree xpe 660 and 730's or just ditch the whole thing and build a qb/strip setup?

Pic 1 is before I put the red two weeks ago, pic 2 is with red with focusing lenses last week, pic 3-7 is with red without focusing lenses today. Pic outside the tent is oversaturated, not actually that bright.

I built the vero fixtures and repurposed the mars light for veros as well. The p150 I just took apart and took off the glass and focusing lenses.

Well I got some plants from a friend that had white powdery mildew and put them in the tent next to it and I guess it all spread over to my flowering tent (the original plants are now pm free) and I've been fighting a losing battle but I only have two weeks so hopefully I make it without it getting to the flowers (it's on the leaves atm). Also I'm experimenting with extreme defoliation on some of the buds (removing sugar leaves) and I think I went too far on those as they aren't looking that great. But it's all in the name of learning and improving. It's a 3x3x7' tent, and thanks for the compliment!

OP: i doubt you need more red in your spectrum, your whites are already 90cri and you have some extra red from that vipar.
It's not a vipar the front light is an old Mars that I took the lights out of and put more veros into. I also disagree that the vero 3000k 90 cri has enough red, I've seen bigger calyxes with this added red vs the stock vero results as well as more rounded colas that I think develop more evenly.

Light and grow look great. It's making me miss having a 3x3; to me a 3x3 is the sweet spot for a flowering tent personal grow. Regarding the reds, I'm with @Rocket Soul, you should have plenty of red as-is. That said, ymmv is the name of this game and so if you want to add more reds and experiment, please do and also please share your findings.

maybe adding some more red and blue or uv on separate dimmers. Its nice to have some blue or uv on tap, it helps when its hard to get the plant to transpire/pray during earlier parts of the grow and also with tricomes in flower.
