Mississippi Bubble Boy Sheds His Shell

Hey guys im a novice indoor grower who has been forced into going outdoor. I had to leave my hometown in TN and move to MS. Where I can no longer grow indoors. That being said I would love expert advice during this late season grow of the indica dominant Hawaiin Runtz strain. It sprouted on Sep 29th and this is pictures from today Oct 14th. Exactly 2 weeks old. It seems a little small to me but it could be my own fault. Im using basic Doller General potting mix. With 4 bags of the finer seed starting soil. Sold in the same aisle. Lol. No added nutrients. Dont judge. Even a DG is a 45 minute drive from my house. With it bein this late in the season im probably averaging about 9 hours of direct sunlight. I bring it inside at night due to the cold. It nearly claimed the life of my Runtz once so far. So I'm not taking the chance again Temps are about 70-80 during the day and about 60 at night maybe 58. Any advice welcome.

well if its outdoor 9 hours of light doesnt allow it to enter vegetative stage and most likely will turn male i would recommend u get a cheap light and veg it in a small room then put it outside for budding LEDs are pretty cheap

Well you were correct. It turned out to be male. A male pineapple runtz plant what the hell can I do with that. Lol any chance I could make it turn hermie? Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated.

try putting it in the dark for 5 days and try to kill the seeds then maybe put it to bloom and see if it gets hairs. its only works 25% of the time for me so good luck

if your looking to grow personal i would loom into some led lights and a 4x4 grow tent with a 6 inch inline fine that u can speed up and slow down and a few fans for circulation. you should be fine after that!

Its currently 41F here is that to cold for this plant to survive? And should I give it some nute water before sticking it in the dark? Or is it better to let it kinda dry out during the 5 day dark period?

its better to let it die out basically whatbyour hoping to do is stress it to a girl so water it and just stick it in the dark for 5 days and leave it alone. i would recommend at least 65 degress and if they already uave seeds its usuallu to late u have to catch it asap

Here's some pics. I been pinching off the balls as they pop up. I pinched the top ones and it seems to have halted all vertical growth except for this long stretching area where the stem goes from spindly to thick and then stretches a good 2 inches. Is this normal? Plant is only working on very little side growth. And temps get down to about 50 degrees F here.

with all the things stressng it out right now i dont think itll be able to turn female. if the environment was optimal already and u put it in the dark it could turn but right now id say pull it and throw it away ASAP

Yes its my only plant. Its a seed I brought up from TN and I have nothing to take clones off of. I assume cloning a male plant would be counter-productive.

could you buy some from someone? if you have one outside with a cheap $35 green house and stress train it while watching the temperature at least i think youll grow some good stuff

A greenhouse in the winter? Could that work? And na I just moved to Mississippi i dont kno ANYBODY to get clones or seeds from. I have to order seeds and thats super expensive for me considering I dont have a job rite now.

ive done it one year with two clones and its basically autoflowers but they dont yet that big id say at the 3rd set they start budding and you will only get an eighth maybe if u put a cheap 600w led over itll veg longer
