I'd get this light instead for $721 while it's still on sale if it was me.
Under $700. LOL.

I run a 4x8
With a 6" filtered intake and 6" filtered exhaust.
Just over 42w a sq foot w a mix of led and cmh.
Ive had 32 girls per 4x4 side in 1liter of soil.
About 2-3 weeks veg in soil after aerocloner popped roots.

Go 6"-8" Intake/exhaust fan.
I ended up w multiple tents,
Veg, flower, and dry tents.
So maybe leave some room for more separate areas.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Check my previous response. It is better in some ways, not better in others. Depends specifically on your needs. For me it reduced heat and electric bill. Some don't have issues with heat. All about your setup bud. If you can dial their environment in both would do the job just fine.

Dope. That’s in a 4x4 there? Also which HPS light do you use
Yes, it's a 1.2mtrs x 1.2mtrs tent so 4ft x 4ft so near enough the same size give or take a tiny bit.

It's a shit picture really because it shows very little of the area.

Anyways, it's a 600watt HPS Slyvania Growlux bulb with Maxibright Digital Pro ballast so can push it to 660watts if needed.

2 Chinese boards. Not an HLG.
Can you please tell me the names of the corporation who provides HLG their boards. Should be easy. Very few quality suppliers for quality silicon. And all produce the PCB's for our boards. Too funny. Your brands thermal solder tank is better than mine using same brand components. Sorry pad.

Samsung, who's actually a South Korean company. I also heard HLG gets its diodes made at a special factory in Vietnam though. But they do have a factory in China so if you're getting boards from China there's a good chance you're getting Chinese diodes.

HLG gets the top picks for diodes. They have some kinda deal with Samsung I've heard.

I don't have anything against buying them if that's your thing, but if I bought a Chinese board I'd at least get a Meijiu, that seems to get decent reviews on here. I just will spend the extra money personally. But to each his own.

I enjoy our encounters. Just wish some more perspective for you from this. We blew dudes thread up. Honest apologies to the op. The honest only difference in boards is color and lay out. Same everything built on the same equipment from the same manufacturer. I use boards in a large variety of differing applications. Consistent results in higher end sensitive uses blows the price of a name out of the water for PCB.

Swaying factors for me to go the HLG route were well established company, Canadian division allowing me to support local business and a 3 year warranty. I looked at Meijiu and Kingbrite which seem to dominate Alibaba. Many have had great experience with those companies so I have nothing negative to say about them. That said those 3 things I listed made me spend the extra. It's all up to the buyer. Hell I grew my first plant under an Amazon blurple light, was a Northern Lights Auto, got 3.5 oz of good bud when done curing. I just wanted better. When I go to the store to buy a tv, I would lean towards the Sony over the Sonju, doesn't mean the second one wont do great.

Blurple? Noobs. LMAO. We had 100W incandescent in ceramic fixtures. And now we are all hooked. The best choice is the one that does the job.
