Are we on the verge of a civil war?

You guys produce shit beer too. We stomp you at every single international beer comp.
Once Donald is out of power, but before he is jailed, I'd like to see him give an interview after drinking a few either American or Canadian beers. Donald is far worse sober than most drunks are when they are hammered, perhaps it will have the opposite effect and it will make the asshole go way "like magic", don't bet on it. If you thought monkeys jerking off and screaming in a cage were funny, Donald with a six pack in him would be quite the show, especially in his current state of mental distress! Jesus, would he get the ratings he craves!

I believe conditions would have to be intolerable for people to want to make the sacrifices necessary for a civil war. I don't see a lot of true patriots out there, but I do see a lot of anger combined with a lack of tolerance and a seeming inability for critical thinking, ie.. we've dumbed ourselves down to the point of no return. My opinion is that as a nation we will slowly erode economically into third world country status, going so far into debt that the nations holding our debt will be setting our policies and we will incrementally have our freedoms and privacy stripped away. To me the dems and republicans are both bought and paid for by big institutions, and as most are career politicians they work hard at maintaining the status quo, which as we all can see is not working. Kind of a grim outlook but it's what makes sense to me. In the meantime I'll keep growing buds, making beer, playing guitar and enjoying my friends.

I think a large portion of our citizens have fallen through the cracks of our education system. But we have so many brilliant hardworking people over the last few decades that are getting to the point they are ready to take over the reigns and it is pretty exciting to see what they do when they do, IMO.

I put a lot of faith in the millennial women and the children they raise. I always thought that they were soft, but come to have a lot of respect for their dedication and ability to work with others in a way that my generation and older has shown to have a very difficult time with.

Americans hold the vast majority of American debt.

And any kid with a phone is able to tap you now. If you want privacy, shut off your internet access and keep your cell phone in a drawer.

Only one party has been legislating for 100% of the population in our country for the last handful of decades, and it has been a long hard climb, but it is also the same party that is finally resembling that fact.

And it is not the Republicans.

And it is not the Republicans.
Ya know, it occurred to me that there will be two runoff elections in Georgia for control of the senate in January, that is where Mitch's priorities are now. Donald is gonna go nuts and it is not gonna help Mitch at all, Donald is also pigheaded, frightened, desperate and stupid, he doesn't care how much of someone else's blood he has to spill either, or about ripping the country to shreds, he just wants to get away with the crime of the century. Mitch and some republican senators talking to Donald will do no good, Donald will make them impeach him, he knows it will cost them.

Mitch wants those two senate seats in Georgia and that's it, he will do any thing to get them and Donald going ape shit won't help at all.

Georgia came up huge. Stacey Abrams put in a lot of work there and it has been amazing how motivated they are to bail America out of the racist agenda Trump brought to us.

She is gonna be working her tail off starting tomorrow and for the next couple of months, every one who did not vote will be canvassed, this victory brought hope and will motivate the cynical who did not bother to register or vote.

She knows the importance of this and resources will pour in, Donald doesn't give a fuck, Mitch does though. If Donald wants to bleed the RNC white with legal defenses and stupid useless ego saving challenges, it will hurt them in Georgia.

The hopes and dreams of Donald going to prison, or those governors, is extremely small (imo). We will have to wait and see. I love all the declarations that Trump supporters should be put in jail but that seems pretty fascist. Almost seems like throwing opposition political members in jail.

In the end nothing will happen boys and girls. Those that lost office will no longer get covered in the news in 6 months and we will forget all about them. Those that won, well they won so even more doubtful something changes there.
Forty seven percent of voters are for fascism.
Edit: Lock him up, lock him up, lock him up. Stop the voting. Stop the count. Sound familiar?

Possible, unlikely.

What do you think the reaction from the people who voted Trump will have if Democrats decide to charge and then imprison Trump and other political allies? Do we really think that is going to help the nation? The officials who have to make that decision have to weigh their own political futures on that move as well. Do we think that is a risk they are willing to take as well as the unrest that would probably follow? Do you think if Trumpers take to the streets, that it will end well if Biden goes ham on them? The repercussions of such a trial for mass murder or manslaughter on the politicians will set a precedent they don't want to have used on themselves one day.
It's not a political matter, it's a matter of enforcing the law when there is convincing evidence that he committed criminal acts.

It was said on the campaign trail. Biden will not influence investigations by the DOJ. No man is above the law, he said. Also, Trumpers are going to be all hyper and histrionic over everything Biden does. Doesn't matter what it is. So, let them get in a tizzy defending Trump from crimes he did in fact commit while he was in office. We can start with ten counts of obstruction of justice and toss in bribery over his acts in Ukraine. Other investigations are already looking into his acts of tax fraud and illegal campaign contributions.

Do I think that Trump is already bargaining for a pardon? Yes, I do. Biden might give him one to keep this country in one piece. That's not what I want him to do. I'd understand but I'd be dissatisfied.

What Biden can't do is pardon Trump for crimes prosecuted by the states. There is one ongoing in New York that looks to be a doozy. So there is that.
