whats up guys n gals. running (3) marshydro sp150 and (1) sf2000 (spiderfarmer) in the grow side. So thats 605 watts for 16sqft. The autoflower side I run super soil but (1) sp150 and an old blurple I've had for years. This is my first hydro run in a long long time, used to do alot of dwc and ebb/flow but I gotta say, I'm probably never going to grow in soil again after using the autopots and coco loco with +30% perlite. These are all northern lights taken off of my mother. These are 5 weeks from cloning! Just flipped the lights last week so just waiting but am already seeing plenty of pistol hairs showing. Before all the comments on defoiliating, I ripped them apart last week to the point that each plant had maybe 10 fan leaves, looking like it needs it again 5 days later.

Whats really blowing my mind is how quick these girls are drinking the juice. Went through 100 liters of nutrient solution in the reservoir in 5 days for just 5 plants.

Happy growing everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know that Autopots are the bomb. There wasnt a ton of reviews but just had to throw in my 2 cents. Its been easy as can be, just mix the res once a week.Following Hans system for the most part.

They look good but I've my doubts about auto pots never getting the salts rinsed out, most systems/growers use a run off to wash out the salts auto pots never get that, how long can a auto pot go without build up?

So this has been my worry as well. I will be experimenting but as of right now, I will be continuing this grow without flushing. Will do it if required but we will see what happens. I can see the salt buildup on the very bottom of pot and working its way up. I'm about 3" high now after 5 weeks so we should be witnessing this salt mark on the smart pot getting taller and taller which should give some indication I've been told.

When this grow is done I will be flushing the pots overnight in a bathtub with some enzymes and will plant again, only replacing the coco loco that sticks to the old root set. It's been an experiment but I've been impressed so far. Will continually update this.

Also had some time to kill and redid the 1x4 sections of the tent. Now the Amnesia Autos are not as crowded to the light as I couldn't lst them to much more without fear of snapping stalks. Now the amnesias are on the bottom and the section height was increased to 58" from 46" which are in the previous photo.

I'll continually update this and we will see how it goes

They look great!

Can’t imagine how much 20L/day is costing you with AN’s complete lineup though lol. You could get equal results for a fraction of the price and not have to mix 10+ nutrients.

Ideal! your aware of the potential problem with salt I'm sure you'll do fine.
I've got auto pots I like them but it's a long time since I used them, looking back I did get minor problems with salt weeks 5/6 flowering onwards, I started offsetting the ec which helped but the plants were never 100% healthy for 100% of the time like rtw.

When/if you rinse them update the post with the run off ec if you don't mind, just for curiosity sake?

what are you using for coco? I bought probably 4 gallons of AN's base nutrients but also open to try other things when I run out of this in a year ;)

as I said, I'm willing to let this grow unscripted and see where I end up. I'm thinking that next grow it would probably be a good bet to flush the crap out of them just before switching the to 12/12. That way they start soil fresh and salt free. I cant imagine how many times I'd need to flush them from the top though to get all those salts out. maybe just fill up the bath tub.

Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro for veg, Bloom for flower. I always use Protekt at 2ml/gallon and add it first.

It’s super potent, 1ml of Foliage Pro is ~130ppm. I usually run around 1.0EC.
