Bio Biz Bloom is 2-7-4
If this is all that being fed the correct ratio is way off.
Also what Im saying isnt my opinion. The info comes from a manufacturer thas been making fertilizer, and greenhouses, and supplies since mid-late 60s, and has made Plant Specific Fertilizers since the 1970s.
They use Tissue Sampling as their method of testing.
The are Hydro-Gardens... They also specialize in Organic, and predatory beneficial insects.
They say the best base formula is
4-20-39
15.5-0-0
Epsom Salts.
The ratio ends up being 19.5-20-39. Most weed supplements are grossly deficient in Potassium. Weed basically likes 2x more K vs N- or P.
The main thing is the PPM.
Weed likes a 1-1-2 ratio, and a good feeding of Magnesium/Sulfur each feeding. Some strains will require more Iron, but is not typical.
The Bio Bloom is also likely deficient of enough Mg, and Calcium.
Its a total myth to do away with, or cut back on Nitrogen during flowering.
From Seedling- the last 2 weeks of say an 8 weeks flowering strain, the plant needs ever increasing amounts of ALL NUTRIENTS, and in weeks 2.5-4, can benefit with a boost of Mono-Potassium Phosphate 0-52-34, and in weeks 5-6 give a boost of Magnesium Sulfate/Epsom Salts. Last 2 weeks cut the food back 40%-60% last 2 weeks.
All Nitrogen to a plant is??? PROTEIN. Humans eat protein, and our bodies turn it into Nitrogen. Plants have to have the Protein already broken down to be absorbed, and they do this in the form of Nitrogen.
Protein is Latin, for Of first Importance. All metabolic process rely on Protein. Also all Growth, and repair.
Also when you let the plant get really dry, you risk burning the plant next time its watered. Its 2x as bad when you also feed it again, after it has been really dry.
When the plant gets really dry, this concentrates the dissolved solids, and when they are Rehydrated, they are concentrated, and will potentially burn the plant. I use a cheap moisture/ph/light meter, and Never let the needle get to LOW. Always Low Moist, but never ever let it get to the Dry line.
If one is growing organically, the most important thing is to have a good healthy non compacting soil, thats very fertile with everything the plant needs. Living soil is a good example, but is another subject that is long.
