Actually I lied. I’m low on pH down. Anything else I could use that would be equally as good as phosphoric acid? I’ve heard that vinegar and lemon juice do not sustain the ph for very long is this true?

I recall Unsulfured molasses and it lowering ph as well. Would that sustain the pH better than vinegar or lemon juice?

Its an acid that has salt as a major ingredient. I believe its hydrochloric and table salt. The only thing I use pool acid on is removing rust.

Try some citric acid. Or lemon juice. Anything but freaking pool acid.

We use it to clear out concrete in embedded conduits - with a bunch of PPE - that shit is dangerous.

I have some that I used when I had my hot tub going, but you're not even supposed to use it in hot tubs. I just made sure I diluted it good first.

Yep. I use it on the hot tub filters once a month. Cleans them very well. Doesn't affect the fibers at all. No metal? No problems.
