I use the straps that come with the tent, and I let it dangle. I think those were for strapping up the carbon filter... Which I have hanging with a rope ratchet. Keeping off those poles is a big help. Never tried bungees. I do however use Bungees to help hold up a little with my air circulating fans.
I have the fan outside the tent... saves space.... as you can see from my pic... im using an oversized filter for the space just so it actually works. It also allows for the insulated ducting on each end of the fan.... paranoid about possible g the neighbours

thanks everyone!
how many plants do you think would be comfy here?
Wouldn't put more than 1 in a 2x2. I have that same set up as well. I have multiple plants in it atm.. 2 in veg from seed, and 4 auto flower clones (Experiment) When the Auto's are done in the 2x4.. the older vegged plant will move in there, and be trained into a trellis most likely before flipping.

Same in my 2.5x2.5 tent. I have the filter and fan on the outside. I plan to maximize the space inside. 5.2ft tent height. Between the height of the pot and the light being raised to the top with rope ratchets I have 40" of grow space. IMG_5716.JPGIMG_5691.JPG

You can put the ratchets on the outer part of the frame instead of the middle bars to get a few more inches.
True indeed. I have an sf2000 hooked like that in the 2x4. Got an sf1000 chillin in the rafters for when the plants start reaching out of the higher ppfd areas. I can move the sf2000 over and drop the sf1000 on them.B450BEAF-F2B1-4127-8781-3A6DE77E7F5B.jpeg

Defo do this...

In terms of lights... hlg lights can achieve great things... like this.. in the loft...
Just out of curiosity, is there a purpose behind removing the fan's front face ( second pic )? That looks like something smart to do that I haven't thought of yet. Is it so that there's no dust building up on it?

@HydroKid239 seriously tho... Sf1000 or Ts1000? Which one should I get? Sf1000 2.5x2.5 grow tent kit or Ts1000 2.5x2.5 grow tent kit? I want your personal opinion. You look like the perfect person to ask :rolleyes:

EDIT: I just re-ckecked. None is in stock anymore :cuss::mrgreen::peace:

Personally I would love to throw my sf2000 in the 2.5x2.5ft tent. The light itself is 25.5" long. It would fit lol.

But the combo if the ts1000 and the mars hydro 2.5x2.5 tent is on point.

Oh, good job with that
You could get another sf1000 and put it in the tent beside the ts1000. That would be like a frankenstein sf2000 lol
It probably would work well.

TS1000 = 3200K - 4200K , 5200K - 6800K with 660-665nm

SF1000 = 3000K, 5000K, 660nm & 760nm IR.

Total 250W.. It would be overkill in a 2x2 lol. Running it dimmed would help the lifespan of the driver and diodes.

You could put 2 same autos side by side from seed and see what happens. Just for shits and giggles lol

consider also that LED technology advances quickly, the same HPS standard has worked well for some time. perhaps begin with an HID and then hone your skills once you have a few under your belt. I use both LED and HPS but I prefer hps for flower. the price per month of electronic is hardly changed wattage is wattage and in a year better more efficient LEDs will be on the market.
