I use california lightworks.
If you have the money go for the ES-300
It is a far better light... better spread and use of light. The cob's that california lightworks are strong and powerful as all fuck but the hot spots on them are kinda nuts.

The electric sky is really good if you have height issues because you can get that light really close while still getting light to the whole canopy.
The light spread is more like a pentagon angle with the es. The california lightworks is a triangle light spread.

Thank you!!! Its between the 300 from ES and the 500 from CL. It all depends on the discount this black friday. California lightworks is doing 20% off. I dont know the other discount. If its 20% or more I'll pull the trigger.

which california lightworks model were you looking at ? I use two 250w SolarXtremes. They are pretty freaking hot.
You'll be really happy with that light. Im sure you already know but Mr.Cannuk on youtube raves about the electric sky. I just had to many other setbacks and was buying everything at once so needed to budget less on light. you get how that is i bet

Both will give you results man. Im not sure if mr cannuk has a discount code for the ES either? probably wouldnt be anything like a black friday discount now i think of it though.
That puts my mind at ease. Thank you. 449 20% is a pretty good deal. That would put me that much closer to having a pair of them. Can you really get 4x4 flower from the 500?

I have 500w right now in a 4x2x5. You could run that in a 4x4 but i would want more.
Also idk if you have checked out HLG-600 but that is the main go-to in this community. Especially for 4x4. They should also have a sale coming up soon. And i think rollitup has a discount for it not sure. They're much more $$$. but if you build your own you can match the cost your trying to spend just about.

This is my 1st grow. I bought cheap 80 dollar mars ts600 lighrs. The first plant got burned because i asked a friend to feed them. He used the same nutrients ratio for each plant. And some plants dont like heavy feeds. Minus that and the cheap lights i think it is a decent grow for a rookie.
