Should I give up on her?

She is a northern light auto under Mars Hydro TS 600.

She got all the possible issues she could have had..

  1. I partially broke the roots when I transplanted it.
  2. Then she got thrips
  3. Then the spray for the thrips burnt her

Now she look like this 21 days old, do you think there is any hope for recovery or should i just start over?

Thanks

No, especially if she's all you have. She's small and can recover, given a better environment . All you've lost so far is veg time and some yield. Never forget this is a weed. It will almost grow to spite you.
Good luck!

You could keep going with her, just dont expect a huge yield from her. Is she doesn't improve much by week 3 or 4, I would get rid of her

I definitely don't expect it to be huge (last was over 70g)

I water her every 3/4 days, usually I stick a finger deep in the soil and if dry I water.

She is not the only one I've.

I've another Northern light at his 11th week and a white widow just sprouting, both autos too...
just wondering if I can bring her back on track (losing a couple of week on the normal grow) or there is not chance and I should just start a new one..

I thought to wait other few days, or max a week to see if she improves, if not....

I just want to be sure is not already just a waste of time, looking her is a bit of a pain XD

Should I feed here or wait to get better and then feed her? I did feed her, but just really few due to all the issues (like a couple of times in the last 2 weeks)

The problem you're going to have is that since it's an auto and has been growing for 21 days it could start flowering anytime. Then you'll end up flowering for a couple months to end up with a very small harvest. Potentially just a few grams. If it was a photo it would have time to recover before you switched to flowering hours. But 21 days with an auto that small and unhealthy I wouldn't bother with it. But that's just me. Some will say to nurse it back to health. I'm not one of them. If it was a photoperiod plant it would be a different story. Is there a specific reason why you're growing auto's?

I'm pretty sure that's the same light I tried growing a flat of my pepper seedlings under in March of this year... zero growth, they looked terrible. I planted another couple of flats and put them under 2 bult t5s and they took off like crazy. Idk what happened, the light seemed bright at hell, I tried many different heights but they never grew. Total waste

They should be more forgivable as far I know, I'm new to this so i thought autos is an easy way to start? Am I wrong?

First two gave me quite satisfaction, 50 and 80 gr but it was a different strain, same vendor

Auto just means it starts flowering without the need to change the light to 12/12. It doesn't make them easier to grow. Auto's are bred using ruderalis genetics. Cannabis ruderalis will flower after reaching a certain age and not due to light hours. Which is great if you grow outdoors and live in short season climates or for some reason want to do a staggered grow indoors. The downside is that if they get off to a slow start they might not have the time to grow big enough before they start flowering to have any significant yield which is where that plant seems to be going.

I would grow photoperiod plants myself. You can veg and flower in the same tent. It only requires changing the light timer. Most people will get better yield and quality from photoperiod plants. Plus you decide when to flower not when the plant decides.

Okay but let's suppose I need to keep my lights at least 18 hour running (if not more) it's pretty cold env and I don't want to put any heating system.

Is there any way to deal with photo in these conditions? I mean eg, I switch for a couple of days to 12h and then put back at 18 or more.. or would it messed up everything?

you would mess it up , you need the heater for the down time
an advantage to autos running more light is added heat. this may prove helpful in cold climates

You would mess up the flowering switching back and forth with photos.

The need for heat and running the lights longer for that purpose is a scenario where I can see growing auto's indoors. But you're still going to have cold temps during lights off and depending on how cold it gets it can be detrimental depending on how cold it actually gets. You may need additional heat during the lights off period if it gets too cold. Some people grow auto's 24/0. Some say the plants need a rest period while others say they don't notice any difference between 24/0 and 18/6. I've only grown a few auto's in my years of growing so I'm not qualified to say. But 24/0 would help with your heat issues.

Good luck.
