Looks like new growth but the pics suck so until new pics are added we will go with that.
The pics ain't the best I admit but phone won't take any better. That pic I uploaded from Google looks exactly the same though same position also.

Looks more like a teardrop to me in your pic. Which is a female shape. But again pics aren't good.

In your second post with pictures I see it in the second picture. The pictures are blurry but that one I see what you’re talking about

some pisitils right at the stem get really fat especially below the bud site . after trimming many plants upside down you tend to notice them. nothing wrong with your girl

Just chop any male pre-flowers and keep checking it. I've had autos like that in the past, I would cut the male pre-flowers once, twice, even thrice on some of them and they would end up sinsemilla. Keep inspecting it - if they keep appearing and they spread in many parts of the plant, take this naughty one out.

Is the pic in post 22 also a pre flower in your eyes? It must be coz it's the same
Pic 22 is sac ofc (4-part round ball which open and burst) but his shows the shape where the pistils appear soon at the top of it. If it is the only one on the plant than it need to pay attention otherwise I would not concern too much. If it is “real” herm it is better to take him out.

Edit: maybe more than 4-part

Ok. I think it's better off being removed. I have done this in the past several times. Sometimes pistils grow next to it too. I reckon that's not a female part and needs removing. We will have to agree to disagree on this one pal. I always top my autos and rarely a very small % have had this happen. I just wouldn't hang around hesitating long enough for it to open and burst.

I believe it to be a pollen sac as it's not the same shape as the other calyxes on the plant also all calyxes have pistils growing out of them this one doesn't. Yes the pics ain't great but you can still see a round oblong shape growing off a stalk, there is no pointy tip. The pistils have been showing since day 17 it's now day 20 still no pistils showing from this growth. How can it look exactly like a pollen sac but not be a pollen sac? I've grown plenty of plants so I know if it doesn't look right. People seem to have taken my question somewhere else as I never asked if it was a pollen sac. I asked what the chances was of saving it by removing said sac? Is it possible to remove and it will grow fine and not corrupt my other plant's? This situation is a first for me as I've never had a Hermie before maybe I've been lucky over the years. Some people's comments on this thread make me think have you ever even grown? People saying you don't get pistils at day 17 YES YOU CAN. Saying it's not pistils it's pre flowers, white hairs growing out of calyxes is PISTILS. A quick Google search of 17 day old autoflower showing pistils will provide enough proof. If anyone wants to know what plants have shown PISTILS at day 17 they are Exodus cheese fem auto's by green house seeds.

Well, I have never grown an auto indoor, for me auto is best choice for outdoor where I live. Whole thing is like this (at least I think so) in easy way. You have males and females no problem. When it comes to “hermies” the are two basic steams, one is “pure” hermaprhodite which carries both genders on the plant, male parts can fertilize the female calyxes lead to polination. Than I would blame genetic offspring and count that seeds gonna prone to herm also. But there are also hermies turned by some kind of wanted or unwanted stress situation, where only few (or more) male parts start to grow on females flowers ussually sterile but not always. If get polinated than the seeds are all females without herm trait. Problem is to decide which one hermie you have (if you have), depends on amount of male parts appeared and the time when they occur. Some strains are typical for throwing nanners in late flower, some carries more “herm” trait and they are less resilient to stress. If you feel that its a male ball than rip it off and look for another ones, because I doubt that this is the only one male part you have in this stage of plants life (again if you have them) if its real hermie. maybe I am talking BS because I have experiences only with the nanners but it is almost the same.
