Help BROWN HAIRS 4th week flower!

not tryin to be a dick but i think your wrong. i have the exact same problem as him, my girl is goin into her 4th week now and i have a few small buds that are in no way shape or form starting to get ripe. i know this because the buds with the shriveled hairs are waaaaaay to small for them to even begin thinking that they are ready for harvest. im starting to think maybe my plant is stunted
i think this because aside from the small underdeveloped buds with shriveled up hairs, she also has some nice looking buds up higher but i have not seen any new development in them for about a week. im using bio-grow and tiger bloom and tiger big bloom for nutes. ill post some pics here soon can someone please help me out. ive heard that it is normal but ive also heard its not. i also heard that plants start growin alot in flowering i have not seen them get much taller. also this is my first grow i was doing a damn good job until now someone help!!!Ur ok it's nothing just press forward soon u will c rapid turn and note that 6 weeks is possible finish so n two weeks double the size some strains so. Don't freak u will be fine .watch ur humidity.

I know I'm 10 yrs late on this thread, but I'm curious as to how this played out. I am currently in exact same situation...with the browing on just one side. I'm headed into week 5 and she is the only one of 4 doing it so far. I'm afraid she's turning herm, but I'm also afraid to jump the gun and take her out of their house....any suggestions?

I wouldn’t pull her unless you see one of the two possible Hermie expressions. Balls or bananas. Balls are generally genetic expressions (Base of the bud/branch) and bananas are generally Light leak/light cycle stress (coming out the bud)
if just afew Bananas are there, no worries you can Carefully pull out with tweezers as you see them, fix the Cycle or Light leaks it’ll clear up in 14 days. But keep your eyes peeled.
Could be over feeding I’ve had plants completely stunt and turn hairs red right at about 4 weeks In flowering from over feeding.

Ok, I too once thought there were x2 expressions of hermifiditing going on. There are. But when it comes to genetic hermi'ng, it was a bit different with my Pheno hunt.
Started around wk 4-5. Plants all looked awesome n stacking hard. Overnight, the #3 had brown hairs (not orangie ripening hairs but brown) at the crotch of each node (the hairs that normally show us that its a female). Didnt know why so i let it play out, keeping a close eye.
Turned out, that plant pollinated the ones next to it first then right down the alley of the fan they went. The pollinated plants began to seed, nanner, ect... the bitch that started it never had nanners or male balls or parts. She too seeded & the hairs continued to brown up.
All seeeds from that grow were female yet 3/12 carried this same genetically inclined hermi trait.
Still can't figure out how it pollinated everything w/o any balls or nanners to burst??? Mind bogling & hard for many to grasp when I tell that story.

Thank you guys for replying. I've not found any nuts or nanners yet....but i am thinking light leak. I've got 3-4 tiny pinholes all in about a 1 inch diameter. I used black electrical tape to cover them. Lets hope this works

Possibly but light leaks are what causes the regular x2 hermafradict traits. Not the brown hairs.
Yes, by all means fix any n all light leaks. Don't even let a green dot on something show.
If its only on half the plant is it because that part is closest to a fan , AC or De-Hu? Wind burn will do this.
If you can rule out environmental issues (QUICK) Only takes that one night, then I'd remove that plant if you have others in the room.
Try finishing it out far away from the rest if you can. If it Startd to seed then 86 it. My recommendation.

I'm not thinking wind burn, only because she's not in the direct path of it. The side that have turned brown is the side facing the holes....im hoping that it is the light, nothing else makes sense. My last grow I had 4 WWM and at around week 4, one of them started doing the exact same thing...and she was in the same spot as this one. So it's definitely something to do with that spot in their little house

and those 3/12 didnt have any herm expressions Either? And still pollinated?

Yeah, that's the point of this weirdness. Genetic herm happened differently then a stressed herm. Then carried that same 'brown hair" trait on the culprits. I tossed all the clones even know there was a few killer crosses there that were stable enough.
