I take my trim. Decarboxylate it. Simmer in a double boiler with VG (vegetable glycerin). Add quality isolated terps. And I got my own thc ejuice for in between sessionsUse olive oil or coconut oil, butter is for rookies.

Great advice man, I was really wondering myself, cause, my lady makes the cannabutter, I thought she was cooking it too long ...Sounds Ike you’re decarbing your weed twice.
Somewhere I have a chart that tracks conversion times differently from the common ones: this one (I *need* to find it among all my image files) measures the THCA conversion @ 30 min; what it shows is that decarb is ~90% complete after those 30 min - or roughly by the time the weed reaches ~140 degrees. The remaining time and heat are required to complete the conversion, put it also introduces the breakdown of THC into CBN. Given that THCA has its own medicinal value, I’ve taken to keeping my decarb runs well below the boiling point, and for far less time. I’ve been perfectly happy with the results so far - though I’m not a big responder to edibles generally.
Second time this has come up in as many days. Need to start paging thru all those files....
