Well buddy if you're ever dankrupt I'm about to harvest in the next few weeks. Always willing to help a fellow Canadian outYeah crappy tire had I think the exact same model on for also $40, my buddy bought one just because. I missed out on that sale so like I said hopefully there will be something black friday, but fuck i'm poor lol. I grow my medicine cuz I'm disabled, can't work and can't afford to buy it. It seems at every grow I'm buying a few hundred dollars more of shit when I was hoping to only need to replace medium, fertilizer and lights (HID bulbs).
Also here are my ladies yesterday day 17 of flower. They def. are a mess, and they badly need a defoliation, but I am waiting until they finish stretch so like on Day 21 I think I'm going to be going at them hard with some scissors. But the flowers are looking very nice I am pleased so far. Oh and as I'm sure you can see that removal from anywhere aint happening until harvest day.
well that's generous of you. I've been pretty good at rationing smoking out of a bong (small like 0.2g bowls). I'm almost out, but my current harvest it's 3 weeks in so err hopefully I'll be able to ration for a few more weeks.Well buddy if you're ever dankrupt I'm about to harvest in the next few weeks. Let me guess, that's an auto, Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I have a tent, my ladies are in it. But I need another area to have lights on for 18/6 (for my mother), and another area for my homemade aerocloner. All this money!! lolGotta get yourself a tent one day!
Just keep in mind if ever in a bad way. Reach out my friend.
Sounds like we're harvesting at the same.time this time around. But my supply should last me more than a year if my yield estimates are close!
They didn’t have autos back in 78 when he started growing 40+ years agoLet me guess, that's an auto, Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Tis true - "To each their own" but, I agree with the guy following your post.....Hey Doc, it's been a long time since we conversed.
All I'm trying too say is that feeding every single watering is not really needed in my opinion.
I ran my plants @ 700 ppm when I used coco and only fed them every 3rd watering and they did fine.
I'm cheap though and wanted to save nutes/eliminate salt buildup (I never needed to flush)
Anyway too each their own, right?
You take care & stay safe
Peace out my friend
Absolutely too each their own.Tis true - "To each their own" but, I agree with the guy following your post.....
Don't waste your time on a mother plant, just smoke itI made a spot for a mother plant and another for clones
My last harvest was at the end of August. I just can't wait that long (until Nov1 just to start flowering).Don't waste your time on a mother plant, just smoke it
1st off it has to be a very good plant with good genetics (hard to find)
Then you can maybe take 6 clones off that plant & that's it.
I used to clone but now I just use seed.
The time frame is almost identical & I feel that the root system from a seeded plant is healthier than a clones
So, I recommend saving up some money & buy seeds.
Attitude seedbank is pretty good & gives RIU members a discount (ROLLITUP10)
Anyway, it's just my opinion.
Take care/stay safe/happy growing
Looks like a cut extension cord plug sticking out of the outlet in the bottom left of your picture.Absolutely too each their own.
There are many ways to grow herb.
Envoirment/mediums/nutes/lighting all come into play.
But at the end, if you are happy with your production/plants, thats really all that count's, right?
I'm content

You stay safe Doc, where I'm at now it's all fucked up with COVID-19.
Peace out
Zoom in. Although the picture isn't super clear in that area you can see the cord bend and continue down.Looks like a cut extension cord plug sticking out of the outlet in the bottom left of your picture.
When the cops raided a medical grow here, they cut all the cords off the fans, lights, etc.. just like that.
(They were sued and the guy reclaimed expenses.)
It's so easy and cheap to keep a constant veg it's crazy not to, i can keep a mother and take clones with 100w of T5s, another upside is you know what you are growing ime buying seed is a shot of the dark and rarely uniform. My last harvest was at the end of August. I just can't wait that long (until Nov1 just to start flowering).
Also, I have taken 20-30 clones off of a plant that was never meant to be a mother plant anyways ... and it grew back, because it was just kept in veg until it does. Thing I've learned about weed plants is that you can literally chop them in half (which I did when I was trying manifolding) and they may take a week or so but they will always come back (as long as they are in veg).
You don't know the genetics of the seeds you're using so what difference does it make if i know the genetics of the mother plant? I just want decent weed, doesn't have to be what do the kids call it today 'top-shelf'?
I have about 30 seeds, I am just sick of this huge gap of time in growing, all this wasted electricity, and I don't see how a perpetual harvest type setup is a bad thing at all, esp. since being all clones I know that each plant will grow similar. Unlike this grow where I have plants (from seed) propped up on books cuz they never grew as vigorous as the plants from clones.
I dunno just my 2 cents but I don't quite understand how it's a bad thing to make up for that 2 months of time that my tent could have been flowering dealing with seedlings.
I did buy a shop vac, was probably a few pages ago now on this thread, but I have ordered and am waiting for this to arrive:Shop vacuum or I just get lazy and let it crust up in the trays. lol no way that I'm maintaining hoses, lines & filters and all that just to drain my run off.. Get a shop vac with a drain hose and just use that.
$70 Shop Vac Home Depot
$10 hose-attachment for bottom of shop vac to drain OR $40 Extraction Pump if you need to pump the waste up into a toilet or something. lol
Another tip is learn your pot size, plant consumption and start watering just until you get drops coming out of the pots so that it just dries up naturally. Clean trays between cycles with oxiclean or bleach if you don't mind the fumes.
Heck yeah, now you just need that drain plug for easy extraction. I personally just empty my shop vac into my Sump Pump but I'm growing in a basement so I know some situations don't have that option.I did buy a shop vac, was probably a few pages ago now on this thread, but I have ordered and am waiting for this to arrive:
