What's the base for the green bean casserole

The frenches crispy onions are vegan so i use those
fresh green beans because i dont like canned.

than i make a mushroom soup from scratch with fresh mushrooms garlic and onions
and i cookit down with vegetable broth, and than use a soy creamer, or almond creamer in a roux to make itsimilar to a condensed soup
its basically the same, vegan butter, + flour + liquid

put it all together and cook it

That sounds banging. Thanks for sharing. And yeah, it sounds to be the same thing. A lot more love and patience considering you can't just grab and can of condensed soup.

I forage often and take my chicken of the woods mushrooms to make vegatarian fried chicken... Though im guilty for using buttermilk in my case. But boy are they delish!!!! Just as good if not better!

all kidding aside, how do you do your goose? my grandma used to do it in the oven wrapped in many layers of cheesecloth. as it cooked, she'd take off a layer at a time. i guess the cloth soaked up all the fat?
Wow that is interesting. And this is the first time for us that we are cooking a goose so we haven't set on a method yet but I'm going to look into that. It probably would stay very moist and need to be basted less.

We went to local farm and got goose and turkey

our safeway carries geese but man are they pricey. like 35 to 45 bucks per. i'd love to cook one but i don't want to mess it up.
