sexy af tho and alot further along. I suppose it happens this is just initial shock, first time seeing them ever , pretty sure my neighbor heard me curseOg kush from q.c.s Fem seeds but still a nanner . She or he gotta go...View attachment 4746999
Week 3? I’d cut my losses and start a new one.So , possible environmental stress may have caused nanners in my gg4. its the only one of 6 to display this , still leaving many doors open. the rest of the flower room is fine. what would you do at week 3 , kill the plant cut losses, try to keep plucking or let it go and just hope it doesn't pollinate alot. in the end abunch of seeds wouldn't urk me alot however its pretty simple to source more good genes. so pros and cons

I'm starting to lean this direction, I just filled the empty space with a mandarin cookies but it won't make up for the gg4 loss that thing had like 6-7week vegWeek 3? I’d cut my losses and start a new one.
Damn we got plants out here shooting blanks too? The struggle is real lolIt's all good. All you need to kill pollen afterwards is water. So really it's not that big a deal, besides the fact that it can seed your buds. Who knows, the pollen could be sterile too.
Damn! That’s tough! Are you willing to put in the work to keep it nanner free? Well at least “open nanner” free? It’s a lot of plucking.. but could be gone after a while.I'm starting to lean this direction, I just filled the empty space with a mandarin cookies but it won't make up for the gg4 loss that thing had like 6-7week veg
I was actually being serious that time. I know it's hard to tell if I'm being a smartass sometimes, lol.Damn we got plants out here shooting blanks too? The struggle is real lol
I had nanners on 4 clones. I plucked and plucked for the last 3 of 9 weeks in flower. Only had a few dry nanners pulled from the bud afterwards.Damn! That’s tough! I took off 15, I just had an update 2 days ago with no signs of them. we had a terrible cold snap and my temps dipped to 55 , just put in a heater as a last resort to save the other 5 from this outcome. so my thinking is that is alot of nanners in 48hrs either I massively fucked up or its genetic and she's gunna go to the pyreDamn! Keep an eye on it.. you say you have a separate space for it?I took off 15, I just had an update 2 days ago with no signs of them. we had a terrible cold snap and my temps dipped to 55 , just put in a heater as a last resort to save the other 5 from this outcome. so my thinking is that is alot of nanners in 48hrs either I massively fucked up or its genetic and she's gunna go to the pyre
yes it now occupies a veg tent with a reveg bag seed plant that i guess is gunna go back into flower for a couple days while I sort this out but based on most of your replies it seems a quick death will be good prevention from future casualties, always gotta consider the futureKeep an eye on it.. you say you have a separate space for it?
Yea you don’t want it near anything else that you don’t want to risk pollinating if you keep it goinyes it now occupies a veg tent with a reveg bag seed plant that i guess is gunna go back into flower for a couple days while I sort this out but based on most of your replies it seems a quick death will be good prevention from future casualties, always gotta consider the future
thats why I'm thinking if its a nanner caused by me will that stress carry to the children and then always propagate nanners? or does that only occur in lineages where its genetic occurrence?Yea you don’t want it near anything else that you don’t want to risk pollinating if you keep it goin
That’s outta my league to answer. I have had a plant get nanners and fully developed seed. I have a good 100 seeds from it. Nice light sativa heady high. Haven’t tried any of the beans yet. I have 4 others going atm and a few experimentsthats why I'm thinking if its a nanner caused by me will that stress carry to the children and then always propagate nanners? or does that only occur in lineages where its genetic occurrence?
From a mix of everything I have heard.. if a plant goes herm.. and has weak genetics the herm trait Follows the seeds produced with a high chance. Just a smaller chance to get an ok female.thats why I'm thinking if its a nanner caused by me will that stress carry to the children and then always propagate nanners? or does that only occur in lineages where its genetic occurrence?
You've got the right idea. If it was environmental stress than it might not be worse in the next generation.thats why I'm thinking if its a nanner caused by me will that stress carry to the children and then always propagate nanners? or does that only occur in lineages where its genetic occurrence?
I've definitely read this and actually thought perhaps this is literally what I asked for (that it carries nanner traits) so now we have more pros then cons. the pro possibly being that it can cross my reveg a strain ive been dying to keep even in seed form. it was bagseed and I know nothing of its originYou've got the right idea. If it was environmental stress than it might not be worse in the next generation.
GG4 was accidentaly created from nanners like many other awesome strains, and those will also be more prone to nanners to begin with.
STORY: Gorilla Glue # 4 was accidently created by Joesy Whales when some Chem Sis plants he was growing hermied and pollinated his Sour Dubb. Tired of seeded gardens, Joesy tossed out the strain. But his buddy, Mardogg, still had some seeds. Mardogg popped the beans years later and ended up with 4 pheno's of the GG, deciding #4 was worth keeping.
And GG4 was born.
We need a Weed History Section, lol.
