I’m just curious if my light says it covers a 2ft x 2ft grow area and my tent is 4ft x 4ft would it still work or will there be wasted light just curious how it works

That will work for a small plant in there in the center.

Ya, you'll get a little wasted light since the reflective walls will be farther away. I wouldn't try to grow a plant any bigger than 2ft in diameter though.

Thanks for the advice bud it’s only my second grow so doubt it’ll be getting that big haha

Put the plant off center. Closer to one of the corners while it’s small.. and keep the light over it but not too close to the walls, or directly over the plant. You can at least benefit from 2 of the walls on the corner of the tent, and the corner of light should be over the opposite corner of the plant. Hope that made sense. As the plant gets bigger you move it away from the corner towards the center and moving the light accordingly.
that’s the best I can come up with workin with the gear you have.

Wouldn’t you want to put the plant towards the corner with the light above? That way you can at least get use out of 2 of the reflective walls.

I know aliexpress sells something like that, not sure how much weight they can hold. Would be kinda of an interesting experiment to try.

Do you guys think adding the ts1000 will be enough if I’m running both lights or would I need much bigger
