Looking for pros and cons on plants that are Revegging due to Light Stress

Ok so two questions.. My clones started growing purple stems and then shortly after started to throw out at first 3-fingered leaves, then after that just 1-fingered leaves. If im correct, this happened because i confused my plants when my timers fucked up and plants went into dark for 9 hours like 3 days in a row. ( i veg at 24hrs, if not 20/4, on a timer but usually left on all the time, how the timer got set up that way with 9 hrs off is beyond me).
Question 1: Is my guess correct about why leaves are decreasing "fingers"?
Question 2: in what ways will this affect my yield? Im doing my best to keep under 24 hr light to reverse while still in veg.

When you re veg the bud leafs turn into sugar leafs and all the growth looks weird and funky.

The leaves will just look different than normal.

If anything it will increase your yield. Things will probably get out of hand tho, plant will shoot out a lot of new branches.

Yeah ive been noticing ALOT new branchs growing since then, alot of new tops forming. I figured i could give a nice clean up once i flip them, or should i keep it clean during veg as well?

Keep it till after you flip. After the stretch you can see how everything looks and decide what to keep and what will not give good bud.

If shit gets wild dont worry about trimming some out.

Yeah thats what the plan was. I upped the Cal Mag and moved back to 24 hr light. Purple stem is gone.. All green growth now

Just reveg them until they throw regular leaf sets. Then flip again. Bonus: they’ll be monsters in flower. Prepare to thin. Yield should kick ass if you have the light.

Sometimes clones just throw 1 finger leaves....not uncommon at all and has nothing to do with lighting.

Hmm.. Interesting. I wonder why that is. This is the first time its happened to me, what makes me think its SOME KIND of stress is the fact that i have 2 different strains that did the same thing at the same time, my first logical guess was the light schedule, as well as the Super-branching thats going on rn

They just got moved to Greenhouse from Inside a tent, so theyre going to be in Sunlight from now. Supplementing with CMH, but going to switch to DE1000s for the winter and for more light, period.

Yep. The stress is the cloning itself. Once they really get rooted into their medium, start feeding and drinking normally, it'll grow out of it.

Some bounce back really fast, and I’ve had some take a very long time to recover. It’s a crap shoot. I know more intense light seems to pull them out for me faster.

I'm not an outdoor gardener although I've had timers screw up before and like others have said you might see some weird buds but the quality should be the same other than visual appeal.
