No worries. It also depends on where you see amber. The leaves will develop amber but are to be ignored. You need to focus on the buds themselves. Amber on the buds is a sure sign of ripening, I don't like too much amber so 10% or so is sufficient to me. In the end much of this is preference. The problem I find is that milky trichomes can take a couple weeks or so to go amber so just chopping when all milky can lead to harvest weeks early which is bad news for smell, taste and potency. They are muddy waters to navigate at first but each grower over time finds what works best for them.

Some beautiful lower growth, crazy how big and crystallized the lower popcorn nugs can get sometimes, even without direct light exposure. I find some targeted defoliating to expose light to some of that lower growth mid-late flower really helps ripen em up nicely.

I would say they look to be in week 7 or 8 of flower and are ready to harvest soon (7-14 days) if not now. I prefer a less ripe plant as I avoid couch lock weed at all costs.

I've never heard of couch lock till about 4 months ago just b4 I started this journey. Is couch lock just something that goes along with med grade bud? I've been smoking for 20 some years and don't think I've ever had it

here are some close ups can I get your professional opinion on if they are cloudy or clear. I cant tell because the light that reflects in the dang things. There is a couple of the caylaxes

They look mostly cloudy with some clear. You will always get some clear as the plant keeps producing them. I would give it a week and take another look. Once they start showing amber it will be easy to spot. I wouldn't wait until it looks like the pic I posted personally but you can see how easy it will be to see amber once it starts to show up. You are in the homes stretch.
