Most of the bulking happens in last two weeks.Day 30 of flower update. At what stage do photoperiod buds start bulking?
Would using a 400w hps be better for fattening up the buds? Currently using a single Mars ts1000(100w wall draw). Will it hurt the plants switching lights at this stageMost of the bulking happens in last two weeks.
Switching lights will probably stress your plant, but I don't now how much. Better to wait for somebody more experienced to answer.Would using a 400w hps be better for fattening up the buds? Currently using a single Mars ts1000(100w wall draw). Will it hurt the plants switching lights at this stage
I would switch either way. 100w is nothing.Would using a 400w hps be better for fattening up the buds? Currently using a single Mars ts1000(100w wall draw). Will it hurt the plants switching lights at this stage
You won't be back to Autos ever trust me. They're shit I grew them for a couple years and they were always shit 75% of the time.Hi all, I usually grow autos but due to the inconsistency I was getting I thought I'd try a photoperiod. This girl is 5 weeks, she's topped and trained. Lost a few weeks at the start due to overwatering, now she's back on track could she be flipped to flower?she's in a 20l pot with bio bizz allmix, using bio tabs as nutes.
Any ideas as to why the leaves around the edge are drooping? Is it just getting ready for the dark cycle? You won't be back to Autos ever trust me. They're shit I grew them for a couple years and they were always shit 75% of the time.
Looking at that plant I would let it veg at least another week..
Leaves can be droopy for a few reasons. I would say they look fine. I have 2 strains that have those big fat heavy leaves. They're not really "droopy" looking to me. I know in my garden when I get more large plants in there and run out of co2 the plants droop hard under the lights. Since adding Co2 burner though I have no issues.Any ideas as to why the leaves around the edge are drooping? Is it just getting ready for the dark cycle?
Nature of the beast. Thank you btw. They look amazing, just strange as all my leaves are fine apart from the outer circumference
Always and 75% off the time are two different things, but i agree 100%. Most of them just suck and you dont get to train them/control the size like photos.they were always shit 75% of the time.
Think it may of just been anticipating the dark as lights just came on and she perked back upThis might sound sketchy but one way I confirmed I had a co2 issue before affording a co2 monitor was I took propane cooker like this into my grow and let it burn for a good 30 minutes on low and low and behold it perked all the plants up like crazy. This was because it was enriching the air with co2 from the combustion process of the Liquid Propane gas.
I later purchased an Atlas Ares 4 burner co2 Liquid Propane burner and Atlas 7 controller and it constantly keeps my co2 within 1200-1500 PPM range.
check these big plants out, the lower leaves you can see are kinda droopy like what yours are showing. But the ones up near the light are perked right up. This was after supplementing co2 in the room. View attachment 4750413

Are you growing in a building/room where there are people & pets etc? Your possibly running out of co2 and the leaves are resting. How long were the lights on when you took that picture roughly?
bummerAnyone following this feed I have some bad news. I noticed her lower sites starting to hermie. Only on lower. Bud sites that aren't getting light
Yep, she was going so well, don't know what would have stressed her as everything as been good. Grew autos for nearly 2 years and never had a hermiebummer
