I just finished my second grow with 2 Mars Hydro TLS 2000 which pull 300 watts each with a couple 150 watts Vivosun LEDs for a total of 905 watts. inside a 96"X48"X80" with 9 plants. Dry weight was 855 grams. Electric bill in the Michigan/USA before grow $280/mo while growing $400/mo includes the lights, 6 fans, 55 pint dehumidifier, 5K BTU Window AC, 4 inch 75 watt inline fan. So if I can get 30 ounces of beautiful flower in 4 months for $480 of electric I'm "all in".

Like I said....I currently use the TSW myself. I also have built 2 kits for my 4x8 but these lights for being on the cheaper side have grown some of my best flowers to date.

What size pots are those? Thinking about ditching fabric and moving to 5-7 gallon plastics.

Yes 2 x 600w HP's with fans dosent come close to over a grand in that time on UK electric costs, maybe the whole households cooking heating and living costs do.

This is the way i look at it
6" fans rvk 3 = 0.180kwh (60w each)
4 x desk top fans = 0.080kwh (20w each)
2 x 600w hps = 1.300kwh (650w each)
0.15p per kwh

6" fans ( 0.180 x 24(h) x 7(d) x 12(w) × 0.15= £54.43p (6" fans)

desk fans ( 0.80 x 24(h) x 7(d) x 12(w) × 0.15= £24.19p(desk fans)

( 1.300 x 12 (h) x 7(d) x 12(w) × 0.15= £196.56 (2 x 600w hps )

so it should cost about
£275.18p in electric

Well, I'm not sure why you feel the need to overcomplicate things. I get that it's something that interests you and may give you the creeps, but I believe it's silly that you should be concerned about something that uses so little energy. I would just go to my provider and negotiate a better price if I were in your shoes. You can find some instructions at https://www.simplyswitch.com/energy/guides/switch-energy-supplier-5-simple-steps/. However, be cautious of energy companies that may try to make you pay even more! They have their tricks.
think this thread is prettt old now. Think they should have delete after six months
