Mimosa Evo - Barneys Farm

Anyone tried Mimosa Evo from Barneys farm. I mostly use seedsmans Amnesia Fast but have been branching out a bit the last 12 months. I've had really good results with the amnesia and just ordered the mimosa, wondering if there will be enough difference to warrant being twice the price for 10 seeds.

This is my Barney's Farm Mimosa Evo on day 46 of veg, started of a twin and still shows the twin traits all throughout the grow with 4 tops instead of 2 after topping and twin fingered leaves!

Hey doug, i just finished growing mimosa evo. I yield 66grams of good bud and 50 grams of popcorn and some trim. I topped her once and did some lst. 6 week veg. Took the lst good and nutes. Started quarter strength worked to full strength ff trio. Chopped her at 76 days from flip and it could have gone longer. Smells great, mine has a very strong citrus smell, mild high for me. Downside with this grow is i found a few seeds and alot of balls and tiny looking nanners. No light leaks, or signs of stress during the grow, environment was dialed in. To me i thought she was healthy as can be the whole time. Oh well, decent smoke for now. I wont grow again though. She did have some purple hues towards the end. Seen another post of a mimosa evo grow and it had a beautiful purple color with the fade near chop.

That was my experience with. Hope that helps you some. Any more questions and ill be glad to share.

PS that was grown under a blurple. Maybe 350w from the wall.

Hey, thanks very much for the info. It looks like a beautiful plant, all the purple is what made me choose it. I had read after I requested the strain that it is was prone to being hermie and it appears you had the same issue with no signs of it. I will have to be very careful and watch that one closely. I appreciate you taking the time to give me some info on it.

Good info to know. I just popped 2 of them. Will have to keep an extra close eye.

How many plants? If more than 1 are you seeing any differences in phenotypes?
Six plants, I believe that is too many, will go with 4 next run, and yes, basically two phemos.
Look at the two plants on the back left and back right.

Back left I call them stumpy's. The are thick on the stem and each bud site looks the same as the top bud.

Right back, I call them arrows.

Of the other four plants most are leaning to the arrow shape, stigma production and color.
They are very tight and heavy, going to be a good yield, hopefully my best. Also, very sticky and stinky, I will get my GF to smell them this weekend and get a fragrance from her, I can't smell at all.

I know I'm asking alot but try to get her to give you a difference of the smells if any between phenos.

Mine smelled like just a normal plant throughout the whole grow and after jarring them and curing for a while, the smell came out a little in my opinion like some type of Dawg, not Mimosa at all.
Also all the grow diaries I've read on this specific breeders Mimosa (Barney's Farm), none of them have turned out like the breeder says it should (Fruity and citrusy). Everyone is claiming, pine, earth, wood, diesel, only 1 or 2 have noted some citrus in the equation. Good luck to all you growing it atm!
