You want your PH to be lower, you can literally use Lemon Juice or Lime Juice to bring it down for now but you will need to check your PH after adjusting. I would recommend ordering the bellow products they are super cheap and super super effective. Literally I use a few drops to bring my 20 gallon reservoir from 6.2 PH down to 5.8.. Literally maybe 1 ML per 20 gallons of water to adjust.

If you want a cheap PH test it would be something like this: https://www.amazon.com/General-Hydroponics-pH-Control-Kit/dp/B000BNKWZY

for all 3 products your looking at 40 bucks. You should only need PH down from the sound of it though. The liquid tester is super reliable and very accurate, avoid cheap PH pens for the life of you. For PH pen I recommend nothing but Blue Labs but they are not cheap...

The Digital PH pens on Amazon/eBay that cost $20-30 are always out of calibration and can cost you your yield and quality.

It rained hard today so I won't be watering for about 4 to 6 days.

I over watered seedlings and it looked like this in my solo cup. I ended up transplanting to a bigger pot. Took a good look at the roots and they had some rot to it.

i would check the roots

My light is a 600 mh cool tube and is about 16 inches above my plants. Should I raise it higher?
The temperature on my leaves right now is between 85 and 90. 90 being the plants at the center and 85 on the outside ones.

you can raise it to 4 foot if you want ... those are babies still. raise that light to at least 3/6 ft till they get a lil bigger.

I have raised it to 24 inches up now. I have to remove the table this weekend to get them any farther from the light. Thank you!!

They are way too young to start judging them yet. Give them a couple weeks pluck off those dead leaves and enjoy. You should consider hcecking your waters PH before watering them. If your in soil you're going to want a 6.2-6.5 PH and in coco/peat you want a 5.7-6.2 ph generally. Coco I run a 5.8 PH. Soil i used to run a 6.2 PH.
I just got my ph meter pen today and will be definitely checking my water from here on out.
Thanks for the info.

water one of them and see if all the water runs out the bottom. they look a lil dry right now but that could be the overwatering just showing more. If water runs right through the bottom then water them all just a little bit.
Can you turn your light down ? its too bright for them lil girls. They are sunburning. i think that is the main problem after overwatering.

Turn that light off for a few days and use regular house bulbs till they start growing again. You are giving them enough light to flower a 3 ft fully mature plant. You are wasting 550 watts and killing your girls with that light.

I just checked my ph with a strip(all i could find) and it's showing 7.0 how can i bring the ph down?
Thats only one reading. i would not put too much concern into one single reading. Are you using fox farm soil ?
Send the ph up back or store it , you will not use it ever. You will only be using ph down in your world. (if you use 100% organic food like earthjuice then you will not use any ph meter. as ph meters read by way of EC electrical conductivity , they cannot get an accurate reading of organics. They read chems great though. A lab is the only place to get an accurate reading of ph. they dont use them cheap ass EC meters , they use chemicals to determine the ph.

In my own opinion , you will not need anything for ph. The soil/microbes will keep it in the ideal range without ph down.

I turned it down to 25% for now. I have to go buy non grown lights this weekend.

Well after calibration of the pen and testing my tap water it was 8.1....I don't mind testing and adjusting my water or any other things I might need to do to do the job(grow) best way I possibly can.
As far as soil I used miracle grow organic soil as that was the only soil i could find around here that didn't have time release fertilizer in it. I mixed it with about 30% perlite. They are definitely growing again.
