Omgggggggg yes... that is plastic wrap I had little breathing holes but I took it off completely... ty for the tip!Ditto what @Kerovan suggests. Moist not wet and do not cover with plastic. Air flow.That first pic looks like plastic film in upper left. That can be the kiss of death to seedling.

that didnt damp off that would have grown fine you killed it pulling it out of the soil, it just poked its head out of the ground the same day you plucked it out of its pot.Exactly my thought based on image
