Will this work for supplemental lighting

I currently have 2 cheap led 25 w panels, 2 GE led plant bulbs 30 watts ea , the ra1000 115w led grow panel and was thinking of boosting the overal light by adding 2 led 40 watt 5000k shop lights. If my math and thought process is correct adding these should set me at 300 watts even. Or are these just a waste of light?

That’s my thought I have been using fox farm and started to notice possible nute rod. Even though I’ve followed the recipe to a T, one recommendation I received was to add more light for the fox farm schedule. Or they can’t/won’t use the extra nutes

If you mean nute burn, maybe feed them less.

I don’t know if it’s nutrient burn from excess. I was watching a video posted in a nute forum and the guy said essentially if you follow the fox farm schedule to avoid burning them you need to have maximum light intake or about 1000watts or the recommended schedule will supposedly cause nute burn. Idk if it’s true just trying to learn and take experienced growers advice

Well it is true that the stonger light will make then need more nutes. @Doug Dawson just realized that with his new HLG light.

More light and especially LED seems to need more food. My last run with HPS set at 600 watts used 1/2 GH feeding schedule. Now my HLG set at 300 watts uses more than max feeding schedule so I have more than doubled my nutes. Led, especially powerful ones seem to make the plants gluttons but the growth is amazing. This was the canopy before I trimmed them all down and they certainly weren't burning.

Yes.

I've also seen a lot of people that have issues with FF nutes. I don't use them, but I'd use GH if I wanted to use chems.

To an extent, yes. To expand, the more light the higher the rate of photosynthesis so the more food needed. The harder you work all day, the more food you need. More light equals harder work.

First thing I did today was flush the soil to avoid lockout or burn. The plant seems to have recovered since although only minor damage such a claw leaf and some new foliage with white tips. I diluted my feed by1/3 gallon of pure water. hopefully this solved the issue
