Switching soil?

Going to be moving plants to bigger pots with better soil and perlite. How would i go about getting the plant out of the soil its in right now without tottaly killing it any help would be great guys thanks!!!!

i would just take up a bit of the soil around the roots that you are using now...i tried the whole have the roots dangling thing before and it took over a week for it to recover..i just moved one to different soil and i just dug around where the roots were and made a hole in the new pot and just put it in...it adjusted to it within an hour or so

trying to change the soil cuz the stuff im using now is not workin out keeps way to much watter and stays wet for so long got new soil that im trying to change to would it be better to just put new soil over the old in a new pot....doesnt sound like it but if its better ill do it :x

i would say just do a reg. transplant roots are pretty damn delicate and fucking with them will almost certainly cause shock if u have a really strong root system u could take it out of it's current pot, hose all the soil, off, then put the plant, sandwiching the roots system between the soil

bud side effects of this may cause death...........

sounds good plants are still kind of young so i dont know if this will shock them way to hard or not

it's not really putting new soil over old...it's just basically to keep the roots together...i mean it does grow in to the new soil...the only old soil is whats holding the roots together for the moment until it penetrates the new soil
