Honkey - get some panama red and grow it. THat was some good stuff back in the day.
Seamaiden - at some point are you going to pull the plug on the connies? When there are a majority of amber trichs and the new pistils are less than the old it may be a good time to wrap it up. I think the biggest problem will be mold as it gets colder and wetter.
LB - Hows the box coming? Did you get all your materials? THe only thing I didnt see was silicone calk.

LB - Duct tape is ok too but I thought silicone would be a little easier to apply. The babies look great. Nice, full and green.

I've been thinking about that, but if I need to I'm just going to pull them in under the deck. It hasn't gotten down into the 30s at all, and they are STILL putting on bud. I do have one girl who's getting harvested today, then put under 24/0 fluoros for re-vegging. I need to get a handle on my indoor issues, namely being BUGS. Little fucktwats! Sorry, but it's a much bigger issue for me as I have it in this little closet than it was outdoors. They're eating the shit out of my plants, which are also showing some other problems, I need to sort out one problem at a time or could do real damage. I do have another 4' shop light to set up, THANK GOD.
Water-cured bud smokes very harshly. Save this technique for "only when necessary", ok?
Papaya is GORGEOUS, I'm hoping I get 4oz. from her. 4 Deep Purple ounces, unbelievable color. The Conquistador girls aren't putting on so much color (probably because they're still growing, which reminds me, they probably need some food). Oy! With a little refinement of technique, let's hope I take a tad less than six hours to trim up and hang one plant, yeah?

The biggest thing I've learned about Conquistador is that it takes a looooooong time to mature! Next year I'll know that it'll be a late harvest.
The other thing I've learned is that plants love worm castings!! It's amazing. The soil grow is looking just as good in the cab as it did outside. I am for sure a soil gal for life.

Seamaiden - I was wondering about the water cure. Sorry it didnt turn out like you wanted. I heard the papaya was killer bud. Let us know how it smokes. Did you say you were growing/curing that bag seed from your sister yet? What bugs do you have? HAve you been using that tobacco juice on them? Hope the reveg takes.

I don't know all what bugs I have, but last night I found a buttload of little tiny green inchworm-type caterpillars ALL OVER a couple of plants. I blasted the crap out of them with Neem.
Papaya's not ready just yet, either, but she's closing in on the finish line! I can hardly wait. I harvested the last of #15 Norene Badseed last night, that's air drying right now. I've discovered that if you rehydrate the water-cured buds, just a bit, just enough, it really mellows out the smoke and makes it much nicer.
I'm not ready to pop those seeds just yet. I probably won't be popping any seeds until next year, for the outdoor season. I haven't got my indoor squared away yet, funds are just too tight at this moment, and with Christmas closing in on us, and I'm going to re-veg every girl who'll take to it.
Edit: Just went and checked, the Neem didn't do SHIT.
I'm gonna have to clean out that room, practically sterilize it and start over.

Spray the plant with BT. Its organic, kills catapillers, and is non-toxic to humans and animals. I use it on tomato horn worms too.

I've heard of it, but haven't seen it locally. Think it's something I can get at Lowe's? I sprayed the bejesus out of them with a very strong tobacco tea last night. I pulled all out of the room, cleaned it out, sprayed it, trimmed and sprayed the plants. I think part of the problem for me is overcrowding and a bad back (have to bend over to look them over).

well its really hard to find a grow spot here...so its gonna take me a minute...and sm...the food here is pretty damn blah. Hydro...you just came during the wrong time of year...you gotta come in the dry season...but yeah...this year so far we have actually gotten over 200 inches of rain...but the dry season just started..we have had 4 days in a row of sunshine...i got sunburned like a mofo today actually.

THe stuff contains Bacillus Thuringensis Worm Killer. The two most comon brands are B.T. Worm Killer|Green Light, Caterpillar, GL27316:Organic-Gardening-Shop.com and Safer Caterpillar Killer with BT - Yard & Garden Fetrtilizer & Pest Control. I like the first one listed, Green Light BT because you get about double the amount for about the same price, but both work. The price range online is about $10 to $13 plus shipping. Watch the quantity and strength when you choose. I swear by this stuff for killing caterpillars.

Thank you very much, green. I was going through my links last night and realized I can also use diatomaceous earth with good efficacy. I believe our local Walmart and Lowe's carry a lot of the Green Light products (my Neem and rooting hormone are both GL). For some reason the worms are exceedingly fond of the clone from #15, my dark-haired beauty.

I dont think Neem will kill caterpillars. It is good for sucking insects like scale, aphids and thrips. That plant may be sweeter than the others. Since a moth layed the eggs it was attracted to the sweetness of the flower. I have noticed this with my plants too. I would apply BT in the begining of flowering and periodically thru flowering too. I really dislike pests that eat my flowers.

It's "just" a clone, but I've had a chance to smoke some of the mom's buds. Hers are, to this point in harvest, the densest of all. Dark beauty she is.
All got seriously dosed with BT and D.E. yesterday. Today, more BT. Little fucks will DIE! My plants' leaves look like lace.

That sux Maiden.I put Sevin dust all around my growing area,Not on the plants.They never make it too them.If the plants are in veg i put the dust straight on the plants in a light powder so as not to block light.Alot of people will disaree with me but the dust is a must!!!!!!!!!!!

Seamaiden - You only need to apply the BT once . If those bastards eat where you spray they will be dead in 3 days. First they will stop eating then die. The only problem I see with seven on the ground is these are moths and they can fly so they dont crawl. I use seven as a systemic watered into the area around the roots. Those caterpillars that eat your roses are what I think you have SM. Its too late in the game IMO to use a systemic. It may affect the taste and we dont want that.

I think there may be some confusion here, green. I'm having no problems with the outdoor girls I'm waiting on to finish ripening. Where I am having problems is in my little grow closet where I've got the clones going. A good-sized ant was walking across the D.E. yesterday, but I'm pretty sure it was looking for deads to bring back to the nest. That was the only living thing in there, besides the long-legged spiders up at the ceiling who catch flies.
