This got me curious. Linking to a journal that I haven't heard of (when we know that there are journals out there that are scamming people by trying to create false credentials) always gets my bullshit meter pinging.

It seems that at least it has some credibility concerns. Which is not surprising, because when something is free on the internet that means you are likely the one being scammed.

At the end it shows that the journal is owned by the Holtzbrinck Group, which I know nothing about so did a quick look at their political party and was hit with this:


So needless to say I am a little skeptical about a company with Nazi links that markets Trump's books and their reasoning behind what you linked going into reading it.

I've never got a flu vaccine...I've never had the flu...they press me at the pharmacy relentlessly and at the Dr's office...no thanks and no...my Dr admits that most ppl she sees with the flu have been vaccinated...she also admitted that she never got a vaccine until she was forced to for her job...I've been at my job for 18yrs and if they said tmmrw that its mandatory to be vaccinated to work I'd quit and buy more lights n grow more plants n set up a few more mushroom tubs n be the local weed n mushroom dealer

Well not only is the "flu" actually a collection of many different types of viruses and trying to pin what next seasons specific virus will be is incredibly difficult and is merely based off past data. IMO the flu vaccine that comes around each year is not worth it unless you are specifically at risk.

Next thing, did you ever consider that the people getting the vaccine are just the people that are more likely to get the flu because of lifestyles or maybe their particular employment situation? Maybe they work with children or the elderly? Maybe they work in hospitals where the chances of them getting sick with the numerous types of flu viruses are simply higher?

I was mild with you, I wouldn't take the Russian vaccine and might think twice about an adenovirus vaccine. Usually knowledge cures fear though and that was why I spent so much time explaining it. We are in the midst of a war and in America the causalities exceed the American civil war, and that was more than the second world war. Think taking a jab is a big deal? Fine, I'm just echoing the opinions of the experts and based on the work of many credible people I make my call, just as any doctor would, but I make the call for myself and state it is my opinion.

You are basing your fears on decades old knowledge and from a worms eye view. I never reviewed the vaccine history of the gulf wars, there was controversy and complaints at the time, but not much after.

With the vaccine rollout, and the talk of restrictions against those who are un-vaccinated, how do we go about compliance/group immunity, when it comes to societal freedom at large? The implications of an improperly administered 'plan' are, quite frankly, kinda scarey. Do we; issue a card/ tag/ tattoo that is easily faked? Do we have an intrusive official scannable/fraudproof photo ID card (like a drivers licence)? OR do we base freedom levels by area (like right now) and only loosen said restrictions with a certain % residents being vaccinated? I favour regional treatment instead of individual responsibility for 'proof' of immunization, myself. Treat this like a community and not burden the individual with "blame". I'm not a tattoo or radioactive dye, or chip fan myself. Not an anti-vaccer but I'm gonna wait and take my turn in the line....as a working adult, I'm at the end of the priority line, and I have the luxury of choice for at least 6 months, anyway. If it's safe, sure, BUT if it becomes mandatory without an anti-body test first....uh, not until I'm forced lol.

As soon as it is available I will be taking the vaccine yes. As will my wife as soon as the hospital she works at gives it to her to take. This virus is no joke and idiots running around like Dear Leader is going to save them because of their good vibrations or whatever crazy shit online trolls have convinced them to believe is far more dangerous than a very well tested and cleared vaccine with the last century of science that has gone into producing it.
