After multiple autoflower runs, I've decided on 18/6 for myself. No reason you can't grow some beautiful plants with that schedule.

Personally I've run a 24/0 veg with my blurple and it turned out a great plant. I didn't have a timer or a specific grow space for this plant. I tossed it next to the furnace under the blurple 24/0 and wanted to see how it'd turn out. The plant had 24 hrs of light, no environment control, was consistently "cold" ~70F and low humidity ~30%-40%. Things don't have to be perfect to grow a great plant.

Last day under 24/0. View attachment 4766390 They were almost starting flower. Moved them into a tent on 18/6. View attachment 4766392 Doesn't look shabby to be me for two freebie seeds.
Good info. I have really been trying hard to keep my temp 75-80f and rh 60-70. Nice to know they will grow regardless.
What medium did u use?

Not entirely true. While most plants need a dark period to complete functions, cannabis is not one of them unless flowering photos.
If your statement were true, no one would be growing auto's under 24 hrs light.
Everything needs to ‘sleep’. It’s how we repair the damage done to our bodies. When plants ‘sleep’ they convert sugars they’ve created to repair and build new cells. They can do this with the lights on but not as well because they are still photosynthesising. What a lot of people miss is that it’s a living thing. If you are treated like shit, overfed weird chemicals pumped down your throat. How much would you yield??

I've never in 18/6. Only 24 and 12/12.

I still have a bunch of others from mephesto I haven't popped. Some the smell is better than the taste. The taste isn't bad at all....just not something I'd go looking for. And they all had this background similar taste.....but still different from each other if that makes sense.
This is my first grow and I’m not experienced, but I did read up a lot and the smell and taste has a lot to do with drying and curing correctly. I even read that in late flower if drop the temp really low it causes more dense buds and promotes better colors and better taste.

Again, Cannabis does not need a dark period to "sleep". It's science. I have no idea why you mentioned overfed, that's neither here nor there?

[/QUOTE AGAIN!!! yeah they do.... I mentioned overfeeding because after the month or two I’ve been on here I’ve come to find that it’s full of idiots shouting dribble. I’ve got nothing out of been on this site. I’m done with it. Again... fuck me who are you talking to???

I wanted to use coco but decided soil bc I didn’t want to have to immediately spend over $100 on nutes that I hardly know anything ab. I’m using FFOF so I can feed plain water for awhile while I research what nutes I can use that are yield and cost effective. Which leads me to my next question, what is your nute line up?
Mega Crop 1 part, and Bud Explosion added in flower.

i'm hydro so i just add 1 gram per gallon of water. and just plain old epsom salts from Walmart.

you said you are in dirt: have you tried any kelp or fulvic/humic acids yet?
Nope I need game on all that. I have 4 autos in day 3-4 seedling stage. They are in FFOF and I dusted taproots and top dressed with great white. That’s all I have done so far.

Not the same kind of flavor as improperly grown, dried or cured bud. Just not my flavor.

Don't overwhelm yourself with things you read on the internet. Get growing. Autos on your first grow may be hard.
