One tent doing well the other not so much

Got one tent in week 3, and another in veg.

Challenge I have is keeping both tents warm.

In the flower tent I use a fan heater and it gets nicely to 24c... I then vent that air into the other tent to keep some warmth and I have 2 tube heaters in there too... unfortunately it only gets up to about 20 to 21c.

You can see the difference in plant health. Its just too cold.

plants in veg need like on fourth PPFD as those in flower. With LED im talkin bout like 10-12w per square foot. the red stems and lime leaves lead me to believe your veg plants are stressed by too much light.

I use flouros for veg i find them way easier and more appropriate. flouros would also provide more heat. although you do need like twice the power (25w per square foot)

Maybe mount a fan above your light blowing down to the plants? What light you got?
Good idea. In the flower tent I got 4 had 96 elites and a 315cmh.

In this problematic tent has 2 hlg slate 3s... thats 6 qb288s. They don't heat up much but might be enough.

I didn't have this issue in summer with the same strains. They are pretty well established plants.

Its either too cold... or...

I switched to a different type of coco and maybe I didn't rinsenit enough... its ecothrive with charge. I thought its buffered so should be fine not to rinse etc.

Are dark stems always caused by too intense light of can it be caused by other things?

CMH light purples the stems. All my plants do it. And you can even see where the stem stays green where the light isn't hitting it.

your dark stems, are they purple?
Yeah check out pic 4 in the op. Yeah they purple. I did add calmag to this last tank. And they do seem better... butni also increased the amount of daily fertigation... also increased the heat. Fingers crossed coz I wanna flip them soon

Can you slow down your extraction fan so the air is coming in slower? What's the temperature of the room you're pulling air from?
