You don't need any of that. Most nutrient companies targeting cannabis growers come up with all these silly feed charts that have people using a dozen bottles because they make more money selling more products.
You might be on to something. I was checking out the AN website.

They've got hobbyists using G, M & B along with four supplemental products.

Pop to "Grand Master" and the supplemental product list grows to 13 products.

I guess their base line sucks ass or else they wouldn't need 13 supplements, would they?

I don't have anything nice to say about AN except they have an excellent marketing department.

TBH most of these nutrient solutions are much of a muchness. I used to use Bio Bizz, then I used Tomato feed and cal mag. Now I used Plant Magic Old TImers Bloom & PK 4-8 with a periodic touch of Epsom Salts for Flowering and Blattwerk Pure with the periodic touch of Epsom Salts for Veg. I use the schedule as a guide only, fertilizer companies will suggest the maximum they think will be OK, at the end of the day their business is selling product.

Shit when I was new I didn't know what ppm or ec even meant lol.
I do have a ppm meter but not ec but when I started i followed their reccomendation on the feed chart and it was starting out at 1200 ppm on the first veg feeding I learned fast that was way too much. I've got three big bottles one each of the main 3 I will just use this up for this gro w. And then I'll choose something else. Thanks for everyone's input. You can see in the photo how sick they are from this stuff 20201212_141313.jpg

Hello everyone. I am looking for some advice for a simple and effective way to feed my plants i bought into fox farns dirty dozen line nutrients and although im a new grower I think they suck and I wasted my money my plants are burnt and sick. And damn are they alot of work. I work 6 12 hr shifts a week. I need some simple effective product ideas of what to use if there is anything. One or 2 products fir best yields and overall plant health
Use less of the recommended values.

following a nute schedule is ridiculous, every pheno feeds differently , better to learn how to read "hungry" and "burning"
That's fair for an experienced grower. But TS is not experienced. Something to follow until they can learn how to read it is a big deal.

Imo... Any nutrient line that provides a good range of nutrients will work if used correctly. What it comes down to is cost and ease of use. There no magic snake oil.

Funny.. I think I read the whole thread and don't think anyone here mentioned the fact that FFOF is a pretty hot soil, many people claim three weeks before you feed with it during veg. Personally I'm with @Dreminen169, I mix Dr. Earth green bag into my FFOF and only add Cal-mag or epsom salts if needed during veg. During flower I use a few different things but the most important thing I've learned is watching and learning what the plants are asking for and going slow with what I'm giving them. Nothing wrong with the nutrients that Fox Farm makes but they are strong and should be used with caution. Plenty of companies make expansive lines of products my personal favorites are NOG, Roots and both Dr. Earth Green bad and Dr. Earth flower girl.
