How far can I chop back

OK my question is I have some clones that are 8weeks old and won't be used for at least another 8 but are top heavy and taking up to much room, my question is how far can I cut them back and what to chop and what to leave

If they are a problem and you won’t need them for 8 weeks clone off of them and start over.

I always leave at least 4 to 6 nodes above the dirt according to their spacing,,,
