I did the research....

I'm new at this thing. I smoke, and have a green thumb, now it's time to apply the 2 into a new long term investment and hobby. I started a few days ago with reggie seeds the mom saved in a bag, I'm going to try to post regular pics and allow anyone to comment and suggest how to do it better. I just ordered a high dollar light on Amazon, by the time my seed matures and sprouts, I'll have it. I'm also shopping for grow room supplies (pics later) to improve the grow.
I'm jkpart. I look forward to sharing my experience with everyone.

Right now, I have a 24 hour light schedule with a cheapo grow light that you pick up for walmart. I have generic soil with generic fertilizers. I water it all with generic water and it's in a small generic pot.
When I learn the process, I'll invest in a real feminized seed or 3. This way I dont waist money.

The reggie I started will be transplanted into a bigger pot and treated as best as I can when the funds support the buying I need to get for it. I will also be getting a decent grow room set up when i can ad well.

My goal, though it's just reggie, is to produce good buds and harvest, dry, and cure. My demographics rn are willing to buy it from me, so it wont be a total loss

Welcome part, it sounds like you are at least starting on the right path. When you say high dollar light from Amazon, I cringe. What kind of light did you get? Brand, light type, wattage? Do you know how you want to grow? Soil, hydro, hybrid, aero... Bag seed is best to get started with, less investment. I highly recommend getting a growing book. ED Rosenthal, Jorge Cervantes are both excellent authors.

This is the Light I got. It's going to be soil grow. I've done regular vegetable plants and other exotic spices in the past, my knowledge is there as far as growing healthy plants, so I'm not too worried about that. I've read a book already, and did about 30 hours worth the research, I'm applying that knowledge to practice now.

I once grew and sold a south African native tea plant in a controlled environment with a vinegar co2 drip.... I was proud of that

That is only a hundred watt light
barely suitable for veg and not adequate foe any legitimate grow

110w is going to do nothing for flower at all, just to give you an idea I give my seedlings a 90w UFO so dont be fooled by the 1000w replacement bull, I would cancel the order and put more cash to it or what I did was go to ebay and buy a 2nd hand decent one and I still use my budmaster to this day with average 5 oz yields per plant

Welcome. What are you using for a grow space? Dimensions?
Today I'm getting a reflective insulation film thing and I'm going to dedicate a small room to build a 4x4x5 or 4x4x4. It's going to include a co2 producer, with the light I got. I'm in a natural humid area, (60-70% avrage) with constant fan running and a small space heater to regulate temperature to 65-75° avrage. It's a starter room, so nothing fancy yet.

I'll try it out, then when next payday comes around, I'll invest in a flowering light. I got bills to pay with my part time job lol

Plus it's my first grow, and it's just a reggie, with no guarantee of being female. :/

can you suggest a good one that wont break my bank?
You are looking at about three hundred bucks for an LED to cover 4 x 4 feet (approx 300 actual watts)
4 feet tall is too short leaving the lights too close to the canopy
I know you can grow a plant under that little light
but it really hampers your growth skills and is not a good representation of growing under LED's

On that light. Another 10.00 and you can get a ts600 from Mars hydro through walmart.com. This girl never saw anything but the ts600. I've got 3 ts600s in a 4x3x6. Lights will be your biggest and best investments. Even these ts600s are beginner lights.
