I'd say the G8 is a little bit of a upgrade in quality but less wattage so this ought to be interesting. First time in COCO or is that not knew to you?

First grow I did involved china made led boards with a 315 cmh for 515 watts in a 4x4. This go around I'm running two HLG 260 3000k with the 315 cmh, planning on not running full wattage unless the plants seem ok with it.

First time using coco. And hell yeah man I'm hoping to pull a half pound each plant this time. Not including the autos. We shall see i plan to scrog, 8-10wk veg, maybe add two 90W boosters from g8 when o switch to flowering

Oh this is gonna be fun. You read up on the Coco stuff I presume? I've got a brick in the garage waiting for me to venture down that hole. I'm considering growing one of my four in it. Exciting to learn new stuff. :weed:

Yeah man I have had a few weeks to try different regimens out and so far the best results have been from water feed repeat and calmag once a week.

You'd be mush better off to give a continuous feed, and include the CalMag in every feed as well. Giving your plants straight water in coco will only lead to problems. If your feed is too hot to water with every day, just lower the ppms of the daily feed.

I was using 5ml part 1 and 3ml calmag and they were still getting burnt.

How many ppms is that? You said you were using BBB or FFT nutes, but I don't know what that really means.
Big blooms and buds organic
Fox farm trio not organic

Even when I was doing only 5ml and 3ml cal mag everyday they were burning

So you don't have a ppm or EC meter? You will need that for growing in coco. Whatever it was, you're better to run half-strength every day as opposed to water-feed-water every other day.

Maybe I will just lower strength of nutrients and feed everyday

I would suggest that you buy a cheap ppm meter for like $10 and start checking your ppm of feed, and also ppm of runoff. That's the best way to determine if your plants are getting enough or maybe too much nutes. Going by the suggested dosage on the bottles is often a losing proposition. They usually suggest too much feed in my experience.
