Hey all....! I kind of have a stupid question: When the new leaves start to grow, where do they sprout from, the top or the bottom. The reason I ask is because the tips off the top leaves are yellow. I thought this would just go away but it seems to be getting worse. Can anyone help? I have 9 plants at day 24. I will be flowering them next week. One more queation, How important are the leaves during flowering? If some are yellow is that ok?

They sprout mainly from the bottom or under the first set of leaves.i think i would say so..
What lights are u using? what nutes if any and how close are your lights to the plants.maybe your burning them?

It should be pretty obvious that the tops are growing, but with the tips turning yellow it sounds like it could be nute burn, if it's bad you will need to flush them.

Im using a HPS 400watt...You might be right about the light being to close to the plants. Ill make the adjustment now!!! I used a very small doseof nutes one time at day 10. Ill admitt I did burn some plants but things have improved since then. I didn't flush my plants because it didn't seem necessary. Do you think 16 days later the nutes are still having an affect on the leaves? Theses pics should help you all better determine whats wrong.....YES I DO LIKE TO GIVE OUT REP!!!

when i had a problem like this all i did was get a tray underneith and kept it fresh with water..so the plant could drink when it liked.and i just moved the lights a touch up..

Thats just my advice put a tray underneith the pot with fresh water and move lights up a touch.

Why not just flush? Im not doubting you one bit, but why not just flush? What will your method do for the yellowing?

well the water in the tray is basicly like flushing.well was for me..it kept water in the plant.cos they had water 24/7 from the trays and they just fed when they liked and when needed.and i just carryd on feeding as normal.and all worked out got 5ounce off each plant

That does'nt look like nute burn to me the yellow would be brown if it was, I'm thinkin some kinda deficiency. I don't see how keeping watter in your run off tray is going to help.
