Led isn't agreeing with my plants

On the 1st December I changed over to mh due to the lack of heat.

Today I trimmed all the growth back on 6 of them.

The ones I've trimmed are going in the bin, so before I throw them out I'm going to test out the Led sitting on top turned right down, I think they'll still grow but it's irrelevant they're not anything special.

Out of 8 flowered there's afaik one decent pheno, I've also 2 I didn't flower who knows one might be super special so I need to flower them next time.
I started training the best one today.

Fk I forgot to take a photo before I moved it to the other tent, anyway this is the best pheno after tying.

I'm going to veg that big then flower it with the other 2 unknown phenos.
Hey bud, so have you given up on the LED?

Yes bud i have for the meantime, I can't get enough heat to get that rapid lush growth.
But... I'm moving my vegging back to my D90 clone tent, the clone tent is ample for a mother and 6/8 clones once every crop.
The bigger tent was only a temporary measure for the 10 potential mothers + few clones.

When I tried the led in my clone tent previously the temps were a nice 25/26c but i bleached them terribly, however I've learned a bit about using Led,s since then, worst case I have a maxibright 4x T5 reflector unit and a 65k 150w cfl.

Cheers SD

Hey, we go with what works. Mine just got flipped and as of yesterday my light is at 100% with the UV bar attachment running. Time will tell. My temps were a bit low but now with the light all the way up it seems to have bumped it up a couple degrees. I did come across this nice little heater you may want to take a look at in case you need something down the road. It is really powerful for it's size and has a built in thermostat. It works surprisingly well and is super cheap. https://www.amazon.com/Wall-Outlet-Ceramic-Portable-Display-350-Watt/dp/B07DCKFJLM/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=Brightown+350W+Space+Heater:+Programmable&qid=1608058315&sr=8-5

I've just sown 10 white widow so very soon my 3 established plants will be getting in the way.
My intensions are to clone then flower them with my led?

It's a 3x3ft tent and a 240w led will it cover that area or should I should I just put two directly under it and not bother with trying to fill the area?

2 would be great, if you fill the area you will be a little under powered at 26.6 watts per square foot but it will still get the job done if you want to go that way.

Cheers man I'd be happier to go with two slightly bushed out ladies and have a bit of room for heater/dehum etc.

I use to use CFLs but switched to LEDs it took me a while to get it right I use cheap eBay ones a unbranded white spectrum cob and I add a blurple castinoo in flowering together they draw about 150 actual watts I also have a intake fan and extractor fan all cramped into a 60x60x140 tent growing 2 plants in 10litre pots without the extractor fan temps will soar the main issues I have is the intensity they can cause problems even without giving off loads off heat

I'm in for trouble and don't know wtf is causing it, I don't think it's light bleaching but Idk?
It's only appeared over the last 2/3 day?
As an observation the plants look a bit lighter in colour almost limey green rather than proper leaf green?

Temps 24/5c
55/62 rh%
50% 30"
18/6 hrs 19/20c dark 60/62%.

What do you think?
Magnesium deficiency probably caused from your temps being too low. Temps need to be 27-29°c or 80-84°f with LED or you need to foliar feed with Epsom salt regularly.

My temps are only 19 to 21 c and I am using LED. I have been letting them sit there to see how the plants do and now almost 3 weeks into flower they show no deficiencies from the temps. I also so do not foliar spray. I don't think temps were the issue in this case.

Yes a few members have had a bit of trouble with them, we're not used to such intense light for low wastage.
Very good bro that's a respectable chunk of weed for 150w well done!

Currently my temps are 25.9 -26.5 lights on and 24.5 sometimes 23 lights off in flowering I run them a bit warmer in veg my humidity is 44-50 in flowering and about 50-60 in veg with constant fresh air flowing no Epsom salts or foilar feeding my main concern is trying to get the growing environment right that seems to have the biggest effects on how and when they feed I'm my set up

Not all strains are the same. Some are easily effected by low temps while others aren’t. But it’s a pretty simple diagnosis if your seeing Magnesium deficiency while using LED with low temperature.

It could be that his water source is low in Mg but I doubt that as you would have seen this under the T5s also.

Of course all strains are different but 25c should not be too cold for any strain nor cause problems with Magnesium uptake IMO.

A while back when I got a kingbright 240w led, I put a plant under it at 50% power and made it sick, I'm now trying it again atm but the plants are going back the way?

I started it at 100w 4ft and lowered it a bit each day, it was down to around 16" (from the tallest) yesterday but today I can see it's just not agreeing with them.

Where am I going wrong any suggestions?

They were under T5s previously and they were doing fine, I've since repotted and moved to a bigger tent and changed the light.
Low temps... aim for 25c

So here are my ladies as of Friday. The lights are at full power plus I have the UB bar running so I am pumping 630 watts of light into the 4x4. Temp is at 21c. Will be doing a defoliation to try to get the humidity down, such a think canopy making it tough. Will trim a bunch of leaves tonight and have added a small dehumidifier as I want to get it down to around 50RH.

Well it's starting to get milder now so it's back out the cupboard, I've managed 3 days without bleaching them, that's progress right there lol.

Temps are less than ideal atm even with a heater 19/20c but it's doing fine all considered.

Normally the frost/snow would be gone but its a few weeks late this year.

I'm looking forward to a break from the bull shit of pheno hunting and just flowering a big single plant with space to get in the tent and sit with a J and cup of Tea to work on it, space to move will be a real novelty, using a screen/net pretty much makes it a no go.

As luck would have it I've won a Mars Ts2000 so its great opportunity to try out led in a flowering capacity 540w combined so naturally I'm delighted with that.

It's still coming along nicely considering the temps are less than ideal, 20/23c

9 days growth.
_20210513_191129.JPG
I increased the power to 75% on Saturday/Sunday I'm now thinking on going to 100% tomorrow, that 25% brings up the temps to around 25c.
Once you get a bit power into them they're not long in heating up.

I wasn't happy with that screen thing so I removed it earlier and wired the plant down instead.

What you think 100% at 30/32"
I'm ready to flip +/- 3/5 days.
