While I will stick with a reputable bank as I have a better idea what I am getting, these folks do take Paypal so that is a big safety net.
Good morning @sunni or is it afternoon there? Either waydrop the squabbling, literally no reason for it
Does the parenting of the strains you go for. or they way they were bred matter to you? Is it as important as I’m thinking or are we talking differences or issues that the average grower wouldn’t care about? While I will stick with a reputable bank as I have a better idea what I am getting. I ate way too much pizza last night and my stomach hurts today.drop the squabbling, literally no reason for it
It would really depend on their seeds. Just because something is new or unknown does not make it bad. Here in Canada for personal use you only get 4 plants. With months of grow time I don't really want to take a chance on those unknowns and end up with garbage genetics. I will leave that to those with say a medical grow license or from other places where they have large plant limits. Those folks can afford to have things go bad as they have other plants growing. Once these new folk are established I would be more likely to give them a try. I have no issues with new places, the world needs more of them, especially here in Canada. I am happy to see a new place pop up, just won't risk my grow on them until I see some reporting about their strains, how they grew etc.Does the parenting of the strains you go for. or they way they were bred matter to you? Yea the 6 plant limit here allows for some room for failure. It would really depend on their seeds. Just because something is new or unknown does not make it bad. Yeah and there are different rules everywhere. I could get my grow license for medical but I have not bothered. The only thing it would really do is allow me to play around with some strains or run clones all the time. I would just end up with too much weed, I never thought that could be a thing, lol. I am all for new seed banks and them taking PayPal makes me much more comfortable but I have the strains I want for now. I do hope the turn out to be the next great thing though, can always use more good sources.Yea the 6 plant limit here allows for some room for failure.
I generally run 3 I know are solid and 3 im "curious" about.
This past summer you guys only saw the 3 I knew were solid. Lmao.
The other 3 I was "curious" about.... well curiosity got killed.
That's one of the reasons I switched to outdoor. I can put one photo plant in the ground and have my years worth of med buds, and the others in pots are just gravy. I do like variety though, and I like a surprise now and then, just not from seeds I thought were a sure thing. It would really depend on their seeds. Makes sense. I still have my prescription but didn't bother with grow licence since they legalized 4 plants for recreational here. I can bang put 2 8ndoor 4 plant grows a year while still taking summers off. Than I can grow 4 outdoor plants at the lake over summer just because it's a separate residence. We can have 4 plants per property. That basically gives me 1 plant per month which gives me extra to turn into rosin and vape cartridges. More plants would be great for experimenting but in the end the product would just end up being given away. That's one of the reasons I switched to outdoor. When I want an idea of what something new will be like, I can do 12/12 from seed indoors over the winter, get enough bud to get an idea, but not enough where I feel bad about throwing it out if it's crap.
I am considering getting a med license, I do have issues that I use pot to deal with, but so far I haven't needed to. If I start growing indoors again I'll get it.
Because the more options growers have, the more likelihood there is of getting rare or cheap goods. There needs to be a benefit to trying a new place...so unless there's a rare or very cheap offering...why?
If you have any place you can walk into and buy seeds i would go there first.
Anybody laughing at the dude in Cali who goes and buys legal seeds from a reputable source...wtf man it doesnt get better than that option.
I never really considered if what I was buying was ripped or not... its a good point, lots of the stuff I look at buying now are grown by people who would speak up if they got ripped off, I think...unless they are the rippers lolBecause the more options growers have, the more likelihood there is of getting rare or cheap goods.
And the only seeds you can walk into a store and buy are from licensed producers, and are still overpriced. The way legalization works up here the dispensaries have to buy in bulk from the government, who buy in bulk from the producers. It's cheaper to get it straight from the OCS, or whatever provincial agency you have.
Black market is even cheaper, but unless you know your source really well you don't have any idea how it was grown, or what chemicals may be on or in it. You also don't know if it was ripped from another grower. Having been ripped I won't go bm for weed.
Yes well that is sort of my point. There already are great sources in the US and Europe, and they will ship to you without problems.Because the more options growers have, the more likelihood there is of getting rare or cheap goods.

Humboldt should have a ton available everywhere. Go to their site for links to sellers that carry their seeds. Dinafem i have no idea.haha yea its easy to stray from the topic , don't mind at all though
seems really tough to find seeds from Dinafem and Humboldt right now tho... doing my research these are two suppliers that I would buy from today with confidence, but I can't find them anywhere, always sold out
I understand that Dinafem might be dealing with legal issue atm but does a company like Humboldt drop new product often?
I was checking out Seedsman and True North, so much is sold out, there are a few that I might try but just like everyone else I want high THC and high yield lolHumboldt should have a ton available everywhere. Go to their site for links to sellers that carry their seeds. Dinafem i have no idea.
Dinafem is not shipping anything presently. No word if or when they’ll resume.Humboldt should have a ton available everywhere. Go to their site for links to sellers that carry their seeds. Dinafem i have no idea.
