so i had to go get a tire for my truck today, was commin down the road a cop comming toward me he pointed at me??? i slowed down, in my rear view i see him turnaround got up the road a bit and pulled me over, going 56 in a 30 and no proof of insurance... yea i know i was wrong but still....Fucker... now i got a question... how did he clock me at 56 when he was moving, dont they have to be stoped in order to get a proper reading and where i grew up they always gave you 24 hrs to produce proof of ins. wtf anyone got any insite

the cop cars in my area have speed radars attached to the from bumper in a cage kinda thing and they can clock what speed your going while the cop is moving

if you got a citation, it might say what he used to determine speed on it

technologyis a bitch.. so i have to go to court to show proof of ins. next week to aint that a bitch i always thought you had 24 hrs. to produce it... i watched the freakin election coverage at the democratic party with the freakin judge on the second... maybe he will recognize me and give me a slap on the wrist... i hope ar maybe its best he doesn't recognize me... i dont mind paying a ticket but having to go to court is the thing that pisses me off

stupid ass country redneck cops... on a straight road that you could fit 3 cars next to one another comfortably in one lane and its 30mph but on a winedy country backroad that you could easily die on its 55..freakin stupid i am outraged

Next time im speeding over the speed limit im not going to stop... When i got caught doing 92 in a 55 It was when i was slowing down! lol I was on my R1 and i was just f'ing around at 1am on a sunday night doing wheelies and junk at ridic speeds.

I was only 18 with a perfect record so i pulled over... needless to say i went to court to get the 600 in fines reduced only to have them DOUBLED! and i got the 5 points that came with. I topped my bike out at 181 before and let me tell you cop cars arent going to fucking catch me next time

The speeding ticket will be a problem if in fact you were speeding. He'll have proof, they have a margin of error while pursuing, and it'll be far higher than 30. Case closed.
As far a insurance, I think you need to carry that always. Always.

One time i was doing 75 in a 30 zone and the cops pulled me over. I was actually able to talk my way out of a ticket! I told them i was late for work and it was my first day, i was in uniform and every thing so they just gave me a warning

just talked to my neighbor who works at city hall and she is gonna get em to pull the no proof of ins thing but i will have to pay 65 bucks for speeding instead of 130 for speeding without proof of ins.

perhaps he clocked you at whatever speed, and then he deducted his speed from it...

if you were going 50 and he was going 30 the readout wouldve said 80, and because he knows he's going 30, he can deduct that from the total assuming you went 50...

he was comming toward me up a hill riding sum other guys ass i couldnt see em over the hill we only got like 2 cops on duty at any given time here and the other one followed mee after the pull over deal
