Disabled veteran moving Michigan need as much as possible help/info on starting a legal medical co op.

Hi,
Looking for all the information and help I can get. Moving to Michigan to be able to legally consume medic cannabis . Would like to grow and start my own co op for veterans. Again any help is immensely appreciated.

I did live in Michigan and grew up there. I’m also a veteran there’s a bunch of veteran coops for cannabis already starting. The winters are brutal so prepare.

So very true.

You also need buyers. With so many people doing what TS is wanting to do the competition to find consistent buyers becomes an issue.

Even if you are selling to the dispensaries they can only buy from you what they can sell. And again there are alot of competitors selling to the dispensaries.

Its a hard business to break into and earn a profit legally.

Its even harder to maintain clients.

Especially when you consider that banks aren't going to give you a loan to start what is still a federally illegal business, the capital requirements for a cannabis operation are often more restrictive than they would be for another business venture.

Cant sell to dispensaries in michigan. I have tried. To deal with them u need to shell put 100k+ to get a license. They will not buy from u, only license holders. In the past u could but since they legalized it it's no longer am option.
What u need to do is look into a "micro business" license. U can grow 150 plants and process and sell from your location.
