Newb strains

Looking for newb strains. And figured this would be a perfect place to post. Not just for me but for all the newbie growers looking for a forgiving strain

Go by price.

Start with a strain that runs ~$30 bucks for 8 seeds. After you can grow it, repeatedly. No huge problems. Good weight, nice smoke.

Then you can step up in price. Say the $100+ level for 8 seeds.

I thought the price was based on genetics

Yeah 30 bucks doesn’t hurt as bad as 100 but the quality is unknown I’ve seen some cheap seeds growing beautiful buds that look like they were top shelf price

I wouldn’t focus so much on the strains other than to say look for what you want to smoke. Heavy sativa, heavy indica, or more of a hybrid.

The newb factor should be how you train your plant. Maybe just LST your first plant. Keep simple, keep things easy and you will succeed.

Not really. I'm growing Planet Hulk. The seeds ran me $12.50 each. I find it a real easy plant to grow but my experience was built on the lower priced strains.

I'm talking stable strains for beginners. Nothing that will give wonky starts. To me price means nothing... but I understand where your coming from

white widow and Northern lights

WW Was my first strain to grow out. Haha. And now have an NL in my mother tent. But the white widow is still my favorite to look back on. It was so beautiful I'm trying a grape ape now

I'm not worried about the training side of it. And I know how much they can take and still recover. Love that its a weed and can take nearly anything you throw at it

If money is no concern. Any hybrid you want. Its difficult to recommend one when there's a couple of hundred strains you can get.

OG Kush, Skywalker OG, MK Ultra are all easy to grow, stout, good producers. (4 in a 4x4)

Just out of curiosity, have you grown these? If so got pictures?

Strains are strains I've never grew a "harder' strain except maybe real stretchy kushes.

That's a Skywalker OG from ILGM.
Those 3 strains all grow about the same if trained similarly.

I agree. Most strains people grow these days are hybrids that don't require anything different from one strain to the next. The only strains I've had to do anything differently with when growing has been long flowering sativas. Many seem to have lower nutrient requirements and my standard feeding regimen has been too much for some and I have experienced minor issues on a few occasions. But nothing that wasn't stopped by a reduction in feeding.

Around 3 weeks regular shipping to the US.
I used their priority shipping once ($25), and had them in 5 days.

IMO price is based on greed. It's all about the $$$.
