I use FFOF soil with added Dr. Earth green bag at the container garden recommended directions at transplant along with some Big Foot mycorrhizal and haven't had any issues doing so, only thing I add during veg is calmag if the plants require it.

Nice. I've never used Dr. Earth. I just know FFOF is already hot from the beginning. But it makes sense that it would be alright to add a little since the Dr. Earth takes a bit to break down.

I wouldn't try it with anything young, generally I transplant only once my plants are fully RB in a 4 inch nursery container. Only reason I still use liquid anything anymore is because I already have it, once its gone I'm going all granular for the ease of them.

I think it's a good idea to keep some liquid on hand just in case they need a quicker dose of nutes than what the dry will offer.

Anyone use Neptune's harvest seaweed and fish? I've heard some pretty good things about it. I considered using this also

It can't hurt to be prepared. But I was more talking about a more rounded liquid nute like Neptune's Harvest Fish And Seaweed.

I usually just give plain water. I use Neptune's just as a boost when I don't keep up enough with the top dressing. I'm lazy and don't like cleaning shit after watering.

Okay I think my game plan is coming together now. I'm gonna grab a bottle of Neptune's and cal mag just to keep handy and do the regular topdressing. I can't wait till my tent and everything comes in. Picked up a 4x4 tent, geekbeast 630 led and ac infinity 6 in fan and carbon filter along with other goodies. Doing a scrog with 6 critical kush ladies. Once everything is set up I will post a link on this thread to my grow journal.

Me and my friends normally experience lack of Ca in our grows
I worked it out by top dressing with gypsum. Mg seems to be good with what comes in EWC and other amendments.

kelp4less.com has what they claim is organic Cal-Mag. It's powdered, and I think 1# makes a gallon. That gallon will last for quite a while as you only need 5ml per gallon when using.
