Alright guys I need the rundown. I just bought a PH meter and a tds/EC meter.

I am running mother earth coco/perlite

And nutrients I use are Fox farms trio (chemical). And big blooms and buds (organic)

So I know NOTHING about PH TDS & EC.

What do I need to know? I'm almost 7wks into this grow. 4 photos and 2 autos. Everyone is VERY healthy.

Have been feeding:

BBB - 5ml part 1 3ml cal mag (two days feed, one day water)
FFT - 5ml grow big 5ml big bloom 3ml calmag

Again, plants are VERY healthy. I figured I could maximize my growth if I figure out EC PH and TDS 16090263615606858866422376634779.jpg

You've been pointed to coco resources over and over. Why do you refuse to do your own reading and work?

Your coco looks bone dry or very close to it. Plants that size should be fed nutrients AT LEAST daily to significant runoff. Would explain why your plants are so small for 7 weeks.

I switched to feeding calmag once a week and feed, water, repeat and it is working AMAZING.
AMAZING indeed. Now read, don't give out advice on coco in the meantime.

I am giving them over a half gallon EACH daily. Which gives me a decent amount of runoff. And those pictures were taken almost 24hr since they were watered as I water about 1.5hr after lights on everyday.

I am simply trying to learn about PH EC and TDS. Also I have done my homework. But I like to see how some people do it so I can compare everyone's methods.

Why are you being mean meany head bully

I switched to 2d on 1d off and that stopped them from burning as they were burning when I fed daily.

Now that I'm at wk 7 I really want to feed them daily. I have early signs of MG def so if I switch to feeding daily with flushing once a week would I need to increase daily CaMg from 3ml to 5ml or since I'm now giving CaMg 2 more days of the week should I keep at 3ml?

I have been feeding them the SAME amount of nutrients since sprout and they burnt first 4wks then when I switched to every other day and then to every 2 days 1 off the burning stopped.

I just want to know if I should start feeding daily. Flush once a week?
Should I increase CaMg?
And when can I start increasing nutrients? When they start showing a deficiency? I would rather just get it right without waiting for deficiencies.

You need to use your meters.
Going forward.....EC measurements because no one is using ml/ liter?gal?

You didn't READ the coco link or you wouldn't ask that question....start with cation exchange so you know what role calmag plays in coco.

I'm not being mean, info on coco including CalMag use, what to pH at, what EC, and proper feeding for coco is included in the links you've been given.

You refuse to read it, or if you did, you aren't following the instructions. You are treating coco like soil. Coco must stay wet. Your pictures clearly show the opposite. If your coco dries out it leaves salt deposits behind from your feed and will cause burns.

So should I feed after lights on and about 2hr before lights off?

Okay so when I calibrate then check ph of my fox farms trio mix its right at 5.8

When I check my big blooms and buds mix its at like 4.6....

If I add more nutrients I will burn the fuck out of my plants. So how do I bring up the PH? I don't have any PH up or down. I ordered and their on the way but won't be here till January 8th
